57:26 As gruesome as the Brumak going Lambent is, I like how it sets up the threat of the Lambent Pandemic for Gears 3. We're seen Lambent Wretches and Lambent Drones, but this scene sets up just how terrifyingly *quick* the infection actually is! It only took a few footsteps in Imulsion and 30 seconds to utterly transform that Brumak.

18:47 - He got up because of the Kantus (those tall screaming, Locust). They're capable of screaming like a maniac, which can actually make "downed Locust", get back up and fighting. Kill the Kantus's first so ya don't have to deal with that, especially in GOW 3.

It hits me every time when it comes to GOW 2 as a whole, story, gameplay, cinematics, soundtrack. Back when I played the first one it was just that cool thing about thicc guys being "machos" and killing all those disgusting beings called locust. But then this game went trough their real human side and deep emotions. Thanks a lot for your videos you´re such a nice gamer to see and enjoy as if it were the first time for us too :) Here in Mexico Gears is such a loved game, way more than Halo or any other Xbox franchise. Sure there are several if not many compatriots here enjoying your walkthroughs. Can´t wait for the amazing GOW 3 experience! :D

The reason why some of the Locust get up is because the Kantus is reviving them, the Kantus is the Locust that looks a bit like a monk. They also spawn Tickers as well as being able to revive their downed friends. 32:01 awww, you missed out on the Hammer of Dawn 😆. That's the only time you get to use it in this game in the campaign, other than the final Lambent Brumak boss.

It really has been a long time since I played these, so I honestly loved being able to go through all the motions. Even the "Shoot, shoot. Dead. Now what? No idea. Where am I? What am I supposed to do again? Shoot? I shoot." Also here's a few tips lol 1: You can kick Tickers with melee sending them into other Locust 2:Kill a Kantus cuz they revive allies from a distance 3:You can stick grenades on enemies with Melee or if you have a enemy as a shield you can stick a grenade on him and kick him to the enemy Glad your having fun with one of the old classics. Steve Jablonsky's work with the soundtrack in Gears 2 was amazing. I still get chills with the music at the ending of Gears 2... and also at the ending of Gears 3, so you'll se that one soon! :P Still, the Gears 1 soundtrack by Kevin Riepl, with the more horror oriented feel to it is on a league of its own. @@GamerJoobChannel The way you do it is great! Getting fully immersed in the game and not focusing on just 1 thing, like the music, is the right way to do a first time playthrough in my opinion. I find that getting too focused on just the gameplay, achievements, the story or the music is more distracting, actually. That's something I save for subsequent playthroughs. I'd rather get the holistic experience for my first time in a game in order to allow myself to get genuinely surprised and immersed. I'll analyze each element of it later to learn more about how the developers and artists achieve such magic on our screens.

hi jade just a little tip for ya concerning how the locust keep being revived from downed state, so you know when you hear the whailing sounds and you have to deal with tickers shortly after that whail it means your dealing with a kantus, these are the support type locust that can one spawn tickers near you after being hit by you or your teammates, and they have the abilities to revive downed locust teammates so when you do hear whailling sounds jade make the kantus the first target (he's the locust that moves his arms about like his doing some sort of acantation of some sort, his always the only known locust to use the ink grenades instead of your normal frags)

Man I can’t wait till you get to use the oneshot (not the longshot) in a later game. You mount it similar to the mulcher in this game, so it’s like a big ass heavy gun you gotta use from cover or place on the ground. But it’s basically a sniper that will oneshot most enemies in the game no matter where you hit them. You can instakill with a toe shot lmao.

so yeah...you finally get to see the ending...and see what the imulsion does to locust...it mutates them horribly...which is likely why they were trying to get to the surface. it was all about survival for them. also LOL the locust running away from the brumak is hilarious...they're like "this is not what we had in MIND when we came with these things!" the last words at the end of the game are very important to remember for the next game "sometimes we intend to leave behind something...but it's not always what we intended" Marcus and the others think they stopped this...but perhaps they only created something worse.

And this was Gears of War 2, the best game of the saga, now the war is over, the COG has won over the locust but peace is never forever, as Adam said "what have you done", the worst is yet to come. come, GOW 3, is the second best campaign of the saga and it is a gem. 1.- Do you remember the rock worms? well, before these, they were killed by the boomer butchers to be food but due to the sinking of Jacinto, this species along with others were prey to this plan, becoming extinct in the process. 2.- A funny curiosity, you did not notice that in this game the Berserker, iconic from GOW 1, do not appear at any time, well, the reason for their disappearance in this title is for nothing more and nothing less than ....Epic Games forgot introducing them into this game, Epic forgot their existence (said by them in an interview). 3.- 48:28 This is where we all smiled at how exciting, epic and fun this level is, with that soundtrack I was between melancholy for all who died and excited, you were a god destroying everything in its path and since this was an end at the time (I played this game in 2010). Enemies: 1.- Lambent Brumak: This enemy is the largest and biggest lambent that can be seen in the saga, since it doubles the size of a brumak, in addition to being the most dangerous due to its size, since when it explodes it can destroy everything in its path, this due to its weight and size is impossible for him to move, in addition to the fact that his legs are fused with the liquid, so killing him is simple but risky, a real nuclear bomb. 2.- Flamethrower Boomer: This "Boomer" locust species specializes in extermination, they are survivor hunter boomers, equipped with an armored welder's helmet, a gas and imulsion tank and a flamethrower, they are very easy to kill but deadly enemies from the front. @@GamerJoobChannel just a heads up, when facing any of the lambent, NEVER GET CLOSE TO ANY OF THEM! They can and will one shot you if you get to close to them. Also after you finish gears of war 3, I recommend watching two videos by wow such gaming “why you wouldn’t survive the gears of war locust horde” and “why you wouldn’t survive the gears of war lambent infection” they’re pretty good

Gears 3 is a lot harder than 2 so here’s some tips. Be more aggressive in fights, don’t be afraid to push and get into position that open up flanking manoeuvres. Sitting back and clearing rooms is fine but you’ll waste more ammo than it’s worth so get up in those Locust faces!! 😁 Second follow Thanos and go for the head! Practice your headshots and get comfortable with pulling off headshots without having to resort to ADS. Snipers, Torque Bow and pistols are more than capable of pulling off headshots just by holding LT and getting this nailed down can absolutely save your skin during tricky moments. BTW are you planning on playing the single player DLC for 2? There was a whole chapter cut from the campaign that you can play. Would be nice way to finish off Gears 2 before moving on to 3.

This was the Gears game that I grew up on, so its my favorite. The 3rd is also really good, but it's my most hated for a reason that you'll find out. I just hope that you won't react to it the same way I did.
