I forgot to mention this little tip you might be interested in. If you want your team to focus fire on one enemy (like you could do in Halo 5), when you have your sights over an enemy, click the left thumbstick down and you will mark that enemy for your team to attack. You can also do this in Gears of War Judgment and Gears 4 & 5 😊

I completed the game in the hardest difficulty (i don't know how it is called in english), and... I can tell that every Gunker part was a torture. I mean, that's cheating, they throw imulsion bombs at your side when you are covered. Hammerburst was My Best friends in Gunkers parts.

GOW Lore: Cole is my favorite gear. His positive attitude and friendly nature keep lots of people going. But at the same time, the one who smiles the most is the saddest. Cole was very close to his mother and would do anything for her. On E-day, she was killed. Cole after mourning for a bit made the choice to join the COG and leave Thrash Ball. After coming out to his last game he made the announcement. Cole loved the game but felt he had to do something. Sometimes people will see Cole writing a letter. When he was asked by someone whos the letter for. He responded for my mom. The person asked she alive? Cole said No, but writing these letters help me feel close to her like she on a trip or something. As he was saying this his tears were running down his face. It just shows you how strong Cole truly is.

This is the best Gears of War game when it comes to story. We get more than probably most anyone expected when it comes to the characters and their character arcs. Like Coletrain in this instance, we see how he wants to be, how he remembered his past life and the ptsd that just how it completely makes him forget he's in a genocidal war, and that he even forgot his best buddy baird. and he just strikes his touch down pose while he's in bomb range. I remember messaging you about the novels on here, but Coletrain is described by a major character called Bernie Mataki, who doesn't really show up in the games, but is in the novels, and she describes the cole train as the ultimate team player. he is super perceptive about others emotions and know who to give them a "pick me up" so they don't fall into depression. and yet here the emotional reminder makes him forget every thing he fought for over for the last 15 years, just so he could relive the olden days.

Awesome video. I love that gears 3 offered so many new things like the retro Lancer and all the executions. Its probably my favorite weapon because of the bayonet charge and slicing executions. Also a tip if you wanna use it. The sawed off shotgun does ridiculous amounts of damage so its pretty useful against corpsers, if you wanted to use it. Can't wait for the next episode😁

Oh i forgot to mention, (no spoilers) you'll to keep an ear out for a new type of Gear from here on out, you technically have seen them already but it was quite brief. They're called Onyx Guard, they wear black instead of the usual blue or white of most Gears. There were two of them who got off the helicopter with Chairman Prescott onboard the ship. They were the guys that kind of nudged past you. Those guys you will see a lot more of from here on out. They are basically the elite Gears and aren't used for regular combat...they are usually assigned for only certain tasks like protecting important people or taking out dangerous enemies.

Say what you will about Chairman Prescott, but he did genuinely keep the COG together and fighting when they were on their last limbs in Jacinto. Even the abduction of Adam Fenix can somewhat be justified as a necessary evil. Not to mention he still has one of the best speeches in any video game in the beginning of Gears 2

1:13:12 Every weapon has it's unique (hold Y) execution. You should try to do all weapon executions in your playthrough. In fact, that's a challenge in the game: (Snub Pistol is the only exception) 1. Boltok Pistol 2. Gorgon Pistol (Kantus pistol) 3. Lancer 4. Hammerburst 5. Retro Lancer (done) 6. Gnasher Shotgun 7. Sawed-off Shotgun 8. Digger 9. Boomshot 10. Torque Bow 11. Longshot 12. Scorcher Flamethrower 13. Mulcher Turret 14. Mortar 15. OneShot 16. Cleaver 17. Boomshield 18. Hammer of Dawn (I think this weapon is not in campaign). 1:13:56 Those yellow containers are explosives. Also, you can kick tickers, they will not explode (except if you kick the same ticker twice). 1:19:31 Next time you're carryng a meatshield, try to press UP in the D-Pad (the same button you use to select grenades).

well, this chapter was interesting, we saw the death of Prescott, funny moments (23:38, 37:50, 1:34:02, 1:26:44), new enemies and weapons, the story of this title gets better and much more. 1.- Wild Locust: These are locust that have become rustic, wild, primitive, etc. Lacking an organized system as had in GOW 2, these are locust that were left to their fate by Myrrah and the elite locust during the sinking of Jacinto, remaining these during the 2 recent years against their queen, leaving their loyalty aside for just focus on surviving by any means necessary in multiple areas of Sera like the outskirts of Hannover, Mercy, Halvo Bay, Anvil Gate, etc. 2.- Retro Lancer: These weapon are the pioneer of current weapon known as lancer, the retro lancer was originally used as a COG infantry rifle during the pendulum wars for 80 years and the first 2 years of the wars locust, being known the same as the "Lancer MK1", this was an assault rifle with a knife bayonet in the lower part of it to be able to ram or slash when hitting its enemies, counting on a great firepower but lacking of a great cartridge and precision due to its retrospective, so quickly Adam Fenix, inspired by Tai Kaliso, who would observe how he would leave with a chainsaw to a locust, would get to work on the "LANCER MK2" or common lancer, improving precision, with reduced damage but greater cartridge and with a damn embedded chainsaw, being the standard weapon of the COG until the lambent wars, where, due to lack of resources due to Jacito and Vectes, this ri fle would return to action for the 3 sides of the war. Enemies: 1.- 11:31 Savage locust grenadier: as a wild variant of the locust grenadier, they are currently one of the most aggressive locust, being able to destroy their enemies with their own hands with pure unnecessary violence, these are the most common infantry in the locust and can be seen in Most of them in each camp where they live, their appearance is the same but more defined, showing some signs of malnutrition in the abdomen and arms, these, being wild, no longer have the equipment to repair their armor, so they wear whatever they can find, like a spiked leather cap with perforated metal caps as visors to withstand sandstorms, dust and sunlight, the only armor they have is that of their arm, the right arm is covered by a kind of heavy armor composed of several metal and leather plates, giving the illusion that the right arm is larger than the left, this being the only armor they have, these leave the Armor of their pants by bandages and leather adjusted to suit their new life, they usually wear gnashers, Sawed-off shotgun, retrolancers, etc. 2.-38:21 Wild Boomer: wild variant of the Boomers, emerged after the Sinking of Jacinto, they have armored armor along with a helmet that protects their head and eyes, although they leave their back totally exposed to enemy fire, they use the Boomshot, Mulcher, as weapons. Butcher and the "Digger Launcher", even these have their ammunition in the chest, these are the heavy reinforcements of the wild locust. 3.- 27:29 Gas Barge: Appearing 18 months after GOW 2, these beasts are the new enslaved locust modes of transport after extinguishing the prisoner barges seen in the aforementioned title with the sinking, now the locust can fly through the use of a large floating creature, whose half upper contains gas lighter than air (methane). It is crudely maneuvered by a navigation system connected to a pair of sharp spikes that penetrate the creature's sides, causing the creature to move in any direction the Locust desires. These spikes are very similar to horse dewclaws (poor beast), only enlarged in scale. However, the ship is quite slow and large, which means that they are easy to hit (although resistant), it is autotrophic and heterotrophic from the looks of it, as it lacks limbs and only has a mouth full of rare teeth. time use and are equipped with turrets based on retro lancers and boomshots. 4.- 31:37 Wild locust drone: wild version of the drones, these now, leaving their loyalty to the queen, focused on survival, Are the ones that are best equipped for Sera's conditions, since they wear a black leather suit that covers their entire body Along with vestiges of their locust armor that protect their back, chest and legs, they have bandages attached to their skin with nails and a gas mask with an oxygen tank that allows them to breathe during sandstorms, they commonly use the retrolancer 5.- 35:04 Wild Ticker: these tickers do not have the imulsion bombs on their back, so it is impossible to explode, unless a fragmentation grenade is swallowed, they eat weapons because they can digest the components of these, although when doing so, they are susceptible to be able to explode, and for that, the locust capture them and imulsion tanks are placed on them by the locust (1:20:23, 1:21:24), they can attack with their claws but normally they do not, so you can pass them or simply kick them. 6.- 38:14 Digger: these creatures of Sera are worms that dig at high speeds to catch their prey, they are similar to seeders without legs although they move thanks to spikes around their body (similar to the graboids of tremors), these are now enslaved and used by wild boomers as a weapon by attaching a bomb that explodes once they surface by he "digger launcher" , they are organic grenade launchers. 7.- 42:05 Siege Beast: these are beasts enslaved by the locust, they are from the seeder family although not of the same species, so they cannot create nemacyst, being only resistant and use their jaws and legs to hunt although now, they are equipped as a catapult to which they add 3 explosive projectiles as organic weapons of the wild horde. 8.- 55:26 Wild Corpser: Being offspring of the adult Corpser, because many of this species died after GOW 2, the locust preferred to use the young more than the adults, armored them to be deadly killing machines and guard dogs, they hunt when they were aware of the ground, so, through vibrations, they detect their prey and tear them apart with their legs, if that does not work, they momentarily rise to the surface to locate and kill their prey, as data: they no longer carry the helmets that controlled them , you can fight them when they are underground by means of A) not moving at all (50% works) or B) dont stop running until they show up and doing a somersault when you have him in front of you to dodge his attack and the Corpser Hatchling is just a baby corpser. 9.- 57:17 Wild Locust Theron Guard: Being the wild verdion of several squads of Theron Guards and Theron Sentinels, seeing that Queen Myrrah had "abandoned" them many had no choice but to team up with the Wild Locust in order to survive. They did not live in an organized society as in the Hollow they became more aggressive and savage than when they were in the service of the Locust Horde, although there is no hierarchy, they still retain their military rank and command wild locust squads to finish off their enemies or prey, they attack by ambush normally, they have a different helmet to be able to adapt to sunlight and storms but their armor is the same, only worn and completely unpainted, they use the lancer, retro, cleaver, etc. as weapons, in groups they are deadly (in madness they kill you with 1 or 2 hits) and its one of my favorite skins in multiplayer. 1:33:35 And there we have a last model, all-terrain, elegant and expensive custom organic vehicle for Queen Myrrah, her personal beast that we could see in GOW 1 U.E at the end, the great "Tempest", Little is known about this beast but it is one of the most dangerous, resistant, fast and strong of Sera, it has a golden armor on its body, it is similar to a beetle mixed with a fly, and as it says, its name means Tempest (more information on this bug later).

Love your playthroughs, it reminds me just how good these games are and I think 3 is the best one. The digger doesn't really need to be aimed with the LT, you can just stand facing the enemies in their general direction, and it will most likely do damage. You can do the same with grenades too if you quickly want to take something out in front of you.

Wild Tickers don't have explosives but they will literally eat any weapons lying around on the battlefield so kill them and see if they are carrying anything. And all Tickers can be kicked away by tapping B.

21:52 To use the retro lancer bayonet charge, you have to have a bit of a run up to the enemy, but you can still steer left and right while you're charging, and you will execute anyone you charge into with a nice implement animation. I love this attack and the retro lancer. It has a bit of kick when it fires, but does great damage. Fortunately they do tone done the recoil of the retro lancer in Gears 4 and 5, making it easier to aim when you're firing. Update: Disregard my bayonet charge tips, i see you did it 😊 nice one 👌

Nice gameplay. Also most of the weapons in the game have their own unique execution with some of them having awesome ones while others are meh. So if you see a locust crawling on the ground hold Y for a sweet execution. Sorry if this is considered backseating just thought I would point it out.

I cannot emphasize enough how you have to AT LEAST try the Sawed-Off Shotgun at least once! It's a fun little weapon that comes in clutch against the enemies that get up in your face. It only has one shot per reload and it only works if you're basically point-blank, but it's satisfying as hell!

Hey Jade, please do not forget to play the single player DLC on Gears 2 & Gears 3 it’s very important to understand the entire story more. You’ll thank me later! After you finish Gears 3 play the Gears 2 DLC and then the Gears 3 DLC before moving on to Gears Judgment & Gears 4 & 5.

Something I love about the variations of lancers is they all have their own feel: The standard is normal and has an easy to use chainsaw The retro is harder to aim and has a bayanett that is harder to use While there are two more I will wait until you encounter them

Retro was harder to use but damn they tore shit up at mid to close range. Pretty much when you're shooting the retro ,you have to push down abit on the right thumbstick to avoid the recoil sending your shots upwards

Every weapon in this game has its own execution as long as you hold Y while they are down along with the weapon you're currently using. Next video try to experiment with those executions the next time you see a locusts crawling away. They are just as satisfying as the retro landers execution. Trust me.

After this game you should react to the Carmine gets life insurance it is really funny sketch/ad for this game and the vote for killing or sparing Clay Carmine there was even an Easter egg at the start of Cole's level called carmine family life insurance and Clay is this Carmine's brother's name he has a tattoo of his two dead brother's helmet look closely next time you are near him and the Lambent is what Raam and Skorge where fighting it was in the comics and a bit in part 2 now that the Locust lost both of them they like the cogs are ironically on the same boat I will not say more though.

The blue line when you equip the grenades shows you where it’s going to end up. You tend to overthrow a bit so it might be helpful to aim down a little😎
