My first time in Istanbul and Asia

We spent 7 days in Istanbul, and I really enjoyed it. The city, with an official population of 16 million, is incredibly large but functions very well logistically. Although the streets are somewhat crowded, the metro is fast and affordable. I was surprised by how many modern skyscrapers Istanbul has, and I also really liked the Ottoman architecture. The food was delicious. My favorite dish was rice with peas and chicken for 120 Lira, about 4€. We ate it every day.
Another highlight was the hotel. We stayed at the Hilton in the Bomonti district. I’ve never experienced such an extensive breakfast buffet before. They had everything you could possibly imagine. The room was very nice with a stunning view of Istanbul. It's a dream to just take the elevator down and be able to train at the gym or swim laps in the pool. It was definitely a very interesting vacation, and I would recommend the city to everyone.
