Chucky's Slice & Dice is a lot like a combo of Wesker, Pig, and Hillbilly's charges: -You vault windows and pallets if your attack collides with one -You break stealth for a fast, rushing attack -You can't stop if you overshoot the charge

I think the only nerf he would need is some sort of slowdown or small 1 second stun after missing his charge. His ability to recover IMMEDIATELY after and then swing is insane cause he still gets extra movement at the end with that lunge. I think reaction times on the survivors part will adjust once everyone has faced him enough times, but he's likely going to 4k all the time for the first week or so if he's released as is

I also hope after looking at him. Blight gets nerfed down to 110 to match Chucky's speed. Never made sense for him to be full speed, and this paragraph helps cement that.

Hes a 110 killer like huntress his recovery is the same as her hitting a hatchet at close range then m1 effectively turning it into a fast double hit if youre not careful. If they nerf his charge attack they would need to make him 115% to compensate

Not 100% sure yet, but it looks like Chucky's hitbox is much smaller than other killers, which makes looping at 110% MUCH easier as the main benefit from looping for survivors is essentially gone. I don't think survivors can get around a loop tighter than Chucky which makes his regular M1 chase a lot scarier to loop. In straight lines, I guess he's slower than other killers but then you can just use his power.

This has convinced me that they need to make REAL Freddy. Robert Englund has said he doesn't want to put on all the make-up and do the action scenes, but he might be open to being the voice of Freddy, one last time. Doesn't seem like anyone is doing anything with the license, so maybe they'd be open to getting some money to pimp it out to BHVR. The company and game both have a much better reputation than they did when they originally had to settle for the rights to Diet-Freddy. I need a Freddy that shit-talks me during chase, in that style that only one man can pull off...he needs to be able to grind his blades on things to make that signature sound...we need the actual Nightmare on Elm Street music.

Chucky has unique interactions when entering a lobby with either Nic Cage or Ash. He'll say "Wait a minute... I know that guy!", which is the first time a licensed character has had interaction with a previous one. Also, the lore is that Chucky is the result of serial murderer, Charles Lee Ray, using voodoo to transfer his soul into a doll to cheat death. The ghost that appears when carrying survivors is Charles' original body. His mori is also a reference to a few key moments from the movies. The hammer he throws is how he got his first kill, tossing a hammer at a woman and causing her to stagger out a fifth story window. The bat is a reference to him attacking the detective who killed his original body, and the ruler is from the second movie where he used a ruler to kill a teacher. Overall, I'm loving how much love went into this chapter, and how much BHVR was allowed to do with Chucky in general, it's great.

Using alive and dice to chain into a scamper through vaults and under pallets is actually really good to do because when you do it resents the slice and dice charge duration. So if a survivor is running through pallets use your power early because if you time it right you can get nearly 2x the duration and it’s infinite chainable so could potentially keep slice and dice going for a long, long time

This killer looks like a blast to play and play against, I think they nailed it. I feel like the strong negative opinions about his height/3rd person I feel like is a bit of an overreaction and that with time people will get used to it and it won't be a much of an issue. I hope the developers aren't too trigger happy about nerfing him because at first glance he seems to be in a good state rn and really fun Save the Best for Last might actually be interesting with this killer. The idea is to enter his power and then hit a survivor with a basic attack, and with STBFL (and the addon that reduces the power duration penalty from basic attacks) to recover from the attack before your power ends, to then follow up with a Slice n Dice attack in the same use of his power for a very fast followup (with the yellow range addon in this video to make sure you can catch up). And it isn't the most convinient, but he does have a Special Attack to hit the obsession with, or a perk to expose the obsession to lose less stacks. It could be a fun combo maybe! (Although I haven't seen anyone use that addon yet, so it might be possible with just the addon without STBFL)

If you do need to target the spirit, then they should show the outline when you shine the light on it. That way you have some frame of reference and it would be cool to see the ghost.

Chucky movies are shot in Toronto which is a 6 hour drive from Montreal or a 45 minute flight. Hopefully there will be voice lines added every now and then. 🤞
