It has never been confirmed but they say the love myself campaign was inspired by Jin. He was very insecure when he started his BTS journey not knowing how to sing or dance. I always say Awake his other solo song is part 1 of Epiphany because in awake he says I can never fly I can't touch the sky he always felt he wasn't good enough like the other members but he wanted to keep working harder and then in Epiphany he realized that he should love himself just the way he is. He is definitely the advocate for self love in every advise he gives he always talks about it. He is a man that I admire so much and the way he has worked his ass off to become the person he is today is so inspiring. Honestly that man deserves the whole world. I appreciate your honest reaction in also sharing your personal story and I hope this song will give you comfort in this journey. You got this girl fighting! His live version in Saudi Arabia is mind blowing

He used to be so shy and tend to retract himself, being an introvert that he is. But I suppose his 6 brothers help him a lot during the journey. He works harder than the other because he feels that he's not as good (well, he is wrong, he's perfect). He exceeds everyone's expectation, he has become the best version of himself. Now he speaks for others, to always put yourself first, to trust yourself, love yourself first. He wakes up every morning saying to himself, "I am awesome, I am perfect." And he is. absolutely loved your reaction, Jin's voice alone is enough to get me emotional, but when it's paired with such beautiful and impactful lyrics it just makes my heart burst. Loving yourself is one of the hardest things to do, and it could take years before you even realise but my god once you do is it incredible. Jin used to suffer from a lot of anxiety and was very shy in his body when he first became and idol, and over the years I've been able to watch his journey of self-love and i always get a little emotional. the fact that this was his song to sing i feel makes it all the more impactful.

I would love a reaction to Blue and Grey or Louder than Bombs from you. These songs are very precious to both bts and us. BTS helped us a lot for years now. I'm an university student and i feel like if i didn't had them in my high school years i wouldn't be where i am right now. They changed my whole perspective towards myself. This song has truly helped me realize my self worth and every day I try to practice self love. It’s a hard battle, but BTS helps me with it every day by being there with their music and their personalities. I am so glad that you have been able to shut that person out of your life! The Love Yourself trilogy of albums all have a similar message, with the first album being about the process of falling in love, the 2nd exploring cracks in a relationship (aka Fake Love), and the third ending on this beautiful message if loving yourself. Definitely would recommend giving the albums a listen in order, it’s a beautiful story.💜

I think you'd really relate to Suga/Yoongi's song Seesaw because of how raw and real that is. I had a breakdown, cry my eyes out moment when I first read the translation because I FELT what he was saying. It was like someone had gone inside my head and put into words all of the feelings I had about leaving a long term relationship. It's been said and should be a mantra at this point but BTS do come into our lives when we need them - even if we don't know it at the time. We love to cry with new ARMY when they continue to discover their message within the music.
