Trying to decide what's my next device. It's a competitive market, which usually means you get what you pay for. A lot of raves for the Microfreak as being exceptional value. Both this and the Microfreak have a learning curve that pays dividends if you take the time. I owned the original Wavestation and really loved it. So I'm partial to wave synthesis/sequencing. I'm thinking if I could only have one, I'd choose the Wavestate. Thanks for your video.

Man, I know you are probably bogged down with content to create but I got word from Korg that my wavestate won’t arrive until Kay May. My intention was to create my own patches and chill sounds with it and lay some drums over it and maybe sample it. Could you make a video of you using the wavestate and making an Accurate style beat along with it? I realize it’s a big ask, love the channel keep up the great work!

Thank you for showing how to play the multi-sample instruments. The Korg manual, unfortunately, lacks new user material. I can only play performances now. You bring hope! Keep up the nice work.

Cool video. Thanks for showing us. I hesitate to buy a synthesizer because I could imagine that's a never ending story to learn all that stuff. Maybe you could make a beat with Korg Wavestate and show us in your next video.
@AccurateBeats4 жыл бұрын
Yup, a video like that is coming up :) It took me about a learn what I told in this video. It’s easy to get stuck and just turn knobs without actually making music. I’m even worse with software synths myself, the hardware part of really ay this just makes me more confident about my different choices. Everyone’s different though. Thanks for watching :)

Hi! ☺ How many sample sounds you can play at time to do some sequence ? Thank you
@AccurateBeats4 жыл бұрын
Алексей Дроганов at the same exact step? I guess that would be four per layer so 16? But since it can modulate the sample changing over time in the sequencer per layer, I guess it becomes pretty close to limitless in one way. Thank you for watching!

Hello, very good video. It's been about a year. How are you feeling about the synth now? Have you mastered it completely? I can't decide whether to buy it or not... I would appreciate your feedback.
@AccurateBeats3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I can’t honestly say that I’ve mastered this synth. I still really enjoy it and I use it quite frequently for a wide variety of things. All the sequencing possibilities are great but not something I use as much as I initially thought. Partly because it sometime takes to much space or attention in a mix, partly because it requires a bit of menu diving. It’s awsome for a lot of stuff and it always sounds really great though. I kinda think I need to show it a bit more love on my day-to-day work. It’s one of the more powerful synths I have, the sky is the limit with the wavestate but when I just need a quick, straight forward synth sound to put in a track... I often use something else. The basic presets are interesting and can spark a lot of creative ideas, that’s for sure.

Do you think you can achieve Beats and Sequences using the Wavestate internal sequencer that would be impossible using a MPC , Digitakt or something similar ? Isn't the workflow in the Wavestate somewhat slower or complex due to the small screen ?
@AccurateBeats4 жыл бұрын
cronenbergj the workflow of the wavestate is definitely kinda slow and really complex. So far I think that the results that comes out of it is very different from what I can achieve on pretty much anything else though. I won’t use it much for drums and building loops like that but the amount of control I get over how the sound changes over time is pretty unique. That’s mainly why I got this aynth. Creating the beat itself is not what this synth does best, I’ll use it with my mpc or Maschine setup and just live with the pretty advanced workflow in exchange for the unique sounds. :) Thanks for watching
@cronenbergj4 жыл бұрын
@@AccurateBeats Thanks...yeah, pretty much what i am thinking. Probably a Editor would be a great ideia for this synth...altough it would make someone use the computer instead of the synth,,,but...
