I'm not a great welder, but I am a really good grinder!!!! Build a platform for your gas bottle so you can roll the table where you need it along with the gas.

Try not to tough the guard on the work peice try have it about 1-3cm away and just get comfortable when you feel more comfortable try doing little circles or backsteps and dong have your gun perpendicular have it tilted

One thing I find is easier and makes it less stressful is don’t over think and you can also rotate your workpiece not yourself or your wrists helps a lot I hope you have a good journey working with metal bud
