Not gonna lie, I wasn’t expecting a PR. But watching you go into those last two laps, my heart started racing. Even though the video title said you got the win, I was still nervous.

Incredible race spencer… I think you really found what works with training
@tommythomasson12 жыл бұрын
A PR as a season opener is not that bad at all ! Congrats on that ;) Of course you can run faster at your next race because you made e really steady impression during the race and could kick well on the last 400m. Finding a faster and less tactical race is definitely going to provide you some assistance for a PR attempt, but I do not think that you rely on having someone else taking the lead and making the race for you. You have the physical tools to do this on your own and your mindset has changed. You are a different person than before and you should really be able to set up your own race in two weeks.

Spence, you’re very humble. You’re trying not to boast about the time you ran, when bro that time won you a race. It’s good to be humble. But, internally enjoy this one brotha.. glad to see things working out!

Hey Spenc: been following your journey, and so very happy for you. Great that you and your dad are doing the Seb/Peter Coe thing! I'm a 60 year old track runner, and like you have had a succession of injuries over the past few years. My best 400 is 63.84, and best 200 is 27.42. Your journey keeps me going thru the downs. All the best! WallyH

Good run, Spencer! Shows everyone that if you keep plugging away progress can be made! Setbacks are merely temporary halts on the road forward. Sound tactical effort, loads more to come. Thanks for all the honest videos over the last couple of years, shows your younger viewers that running ain't always easy or painless but there are rewards for keeping going!

Ribich just ran 8:00 this weekend with a 1:40 last 600m vs your 8:07 with a 1:32 last 600 and he’s more of a 5k guy than you. This just shows that you are on the right track. Maybe he had a bad race but still looking at where you were compared to him last year at this time. You’re gonna be a contender this year in the 1500, just keep trusting Keith!

Camron Dioun is the name of a boston area high school runner who graduated in 2021. He was about a 16 flat 5k runner and then he ran 2 months of 100 mile weeks over the summer and proclaimed "All States is my race to lose". Unfortunately he got a stress fracture in his femur so we never got to see the king claim his crown. I'm pretty certain this is the right Camron Dioun- If you're reading this, Camron, you are the people's champ.
@C_D_82 жыл бұрын
Someone did his homework😉 current mileage: 78mpw big things: coming people doubt I was in sub 14:30 shape before the fracture, but what else can you deduce from 7x1k at 2:54 with 600 jog? 2nd fastest in the state ran 14:48
