My Fish Room - 5 Days No Power!

Recently my area experienced extreme storms and long blackouts that effected over 100,000 houses. As you can imagine the lack of power was a real problem especially for my fish room. Luckily there are ways to resolve the situation immediately with the right "before hand preparation" demonstrated in this video.

I just had a power blackout for 3 hours and boy was it stressful! Definitely recommend a plan B. I managed to get lucky cz I bought a generator 10 mins before Bunnings closed their doors. However if the power went off half hour late, my fishroom might have lost everything. Hopefully someone can learn from my experience and have a plan B ready. We lost power 930pm Xmas Night. We copped the tornado winds pretty bad. We got power back on at 530am boxing day, luckily. I only ran the generator for about 3.5 hours all up. I hope you get power back on soon, mate. The storms were crazy.

you should be fine as long as the temp is alright just disrupt the water as much as posible in all your tanks.

My Houseplants filter the Water and give oxgen, i never had a Filter or a Pump.But u beeing without Engergy is not good
