I think that the whole “they want to make her like one of them” is gonna be reminiscent of the silver eyes books. It’s less that the animatronics are trying to kill her and more keep her away from the adults who they can only see as murderers.

I honestly hope it doesn't actually end darkly. I don't need Golden freddy, Abby, Mike, and Vanessa walking to the sunset, but I do hope that at least Mike and Abby escape alright. I also think William will grt springlocked in this film. If we remember the old photos of the springtrap head, we see that they have a red coloring on them. At first, I thought it was rust, but after seeing the trailer, we see the Springbonnie suit isn't that rusty. So... maybe at the end, the ghosts confront Willaim, and he hides in a suit. The springlocks go off , which kills him. Then it leads to the sequel. Remember, they mentioned this movie will mostly be based on the 3 games, so it makes sense if William dies in the suit at the ending.

I highly doubt the movie takes place in the games timeline. In the FNAF movie trailer, it can be inferred that if Mike Schmidt were Michael Afton, he would have recognized William's voice through the phone. Additionally, Vanessa informs Mike Schmidt about the missing children who possess the animatronics and explains that the incident occurred in the 80s. If Mike Schmidt were truly Michael Afton, he would already be aware of these events due to living through that era, rendering Vanessa's explanation unnecessary. In the games, Mike Schmidt is Michael Afton, but not in the movie.

A costume designer behind the scenes of the film confirmed that they used the color of the outfits in some of the shots to signify a connection between Michael and William, as in they're related. They're still definitely making the movie have differences from the games though.

An argument can be made about Mike never having heard of the pizzeria or knowing who William is and using that as evidence to say that he has no connection to either which is a fair enough point but considering that if Mike is the crying child's older brother, witnessing/causing his brother's death is probably enough to cause him to repress the memory from the trauma causing a form of amnesia in a way. It's an actual thing so it's not completely out of the realm of possibility that he literally just forgot because of the trauma. I think that the forest scene will be the spirits forcing him to dig up the memories from his subconscious and remember his connection to Freddy's and that's why we see a scene with his little brother. Just a thought tho. I know the kid was in a car that was driving off too, so I'm unsure on that but maybe Mike's just misremembering how he lost his brother. Maybe he remembers him getting taken away or kidnapped or something and he's gonna have to be honest with himself and remember what really happened to him. Or maybe I'm wrong, we'll see I guess. Edit: Actually, after having now finished the video completely, I actually really like your idea instead. Especially the part of Mike witnessing a kidnapping instead of the bite. I'm honestly still holding out a little hope on the Bite of '83 but if the idea plays out like this instead, I'll still be very entertained regardless. I know this movie's gonna be a banger.

My take on the Abby with Golden Freddy thing is that they are being picked up in the cab *from* Mike and Abby’s house, which we can see is where the cab is parked, and driven to the pizzeria, where we get the shot of them standing outside together. Then, as is shown a little earlier in the trailer when Vanessa says, “They want to make her like them.”, we get a shot of Abby entering the pizzeria *alone*, wearing the same outfit that she’s seen wearing when in the cab and outside with Golden Freddy, that being red pants, a jean jacket, and a red and blue backpack. She’s also wearing this, just without the backpack, when she’s looking at the Springbonnie drawing on the wall. Interestingly however, she not in that outfit in the shot that immediately follows of her and Foxy standing in front of the same drawings with Mike shouting, “Abby!?”. So, I think that Abby was somehow persuaded to go back to the pizzeria alone by Golden Freddy.

I've seen a lot of people take Vanessa's line about the animatronics' motivations at face value, and I don't buy it. I don't think she can be trusted at all. She seems to know a lot more than she lets on, and considering her inspiration from the game version of Vanessa, I've come to agree with a theory I've seen floating around that she's actually in on this plot with Afton. She's there to keep Mike in the dark about the animatronics and to ensure Abby's death. Aside from that, despite the other departures from the game lore, I don't believe at all that Scott would sign off on changing a key aspect of their motivations. The animatronics are murdered children; they would never harm another child. I think the animatronics think Mike is the threat and want to protect Abby from him, and in doing so leads Mike to protect Abby, which angers the animatronics further. Combine that with Vanessa tricking Mike into believing the animations have ill intentions and you've got your setup there.

I’m thinking that the Female Villain would be the owner of Freddy’s and wether or not she knows about Afton’s history, it’ll be interesting to see how her role is. And considering we LITERALLY SEE SPRINGTRAP, it’s not too far fetched to think that she awakens him to tell him that the job isn’t finished. Afton is her puppet now. That’s just my theory.

After seeing the second trailer I think Mike is going to become Golden Freddie or the version of Freddie in the car because in that one there’s a scene he’s attached to some device that looked like the one at the end of sisters. Then they both get driven off together at the end, which is why Freddie and the sister are in the car together.

i personally think that mike is the freddy in the taxi because in the scene before it was mike getting put into the suit and the freddy eyes are blue which is an opposite colour to the red which i think is them being controlled. abby is also looking at the freddy with a loving look.
