This is the pinnacle of JDM imports. These Japanese vehicles are one of the most sought after performance cars and there are 3 of them.
Hey you guys! So my friend Charles imported three Nissan Skyline R34 GTRs into Vancouver, BC. Not only are all of these cars powered by big, single turbo RB26 engines, but they're all very different in every aspect. I'm over here eating rice and drinking water for a year straight so I can afford to build my car and my buddy who doesn't even have a job lives in a 2300 square foot house (payed off), all expenses covered and just sent his car in for new paint and a built motor all thanks to his parents in China.

This guy is living the dream. Kudos to him. He also has a R35. Let's put things to perspective. Guy lives in Vancouver where it's avg home cost is about 1M. Has one of the lower pay scales in Canada. Each of those GTRs are NOT 50-70k. They are way more. These are VSpec 1/2 and modified. There are parts coming in and installed. All Rays, Voltex, Varis etc. Not cheap. Vancouver is not a place where you can grind your way to success(you can but much harder than other provinces). You have to have money first. Visit Vancouver and talk to the locals at the car scene and you'll see how many actually work.

Did I heard it right??? This guy is thinking of pulling the fully functioning rb26 out, and replacing it with some kind of v10? WTF...then why would he buy a skyline anyway??? The rb26 is so significant that it would barely be a skyline gtr anymore without it...Thus the legendary rb26 has so much potential, I don't see any reason to swap it out unless the engine is broken....
