My Front Engine Dragster is Headed to Jimmy’s, Let’s Get to Work…
Well, it is time to get to work on my front engine dragster. As you saw in the previous video, we took it apart and prepped it to go to Jimmy's. We are going to finish the disassembly there and start making plans on our direction for the build. We do know it will a Hilborn fuel injected small block Chevy that will eventually get a healthy does of nitromethane. That being said, we have a lot of work to do and a lot of arguing, I mean planning!
I absolutely love vintage drag racing and the nostalgia drag race scene. My goal is to be as period correct as I can with very minimal modern components. Now, do I want to go as fast as possible, of course I do! But I also want to do it safely. In this video we are going to complete the disassembly process, start doing some measuring, and come up with a game plan! Oh, I did come up with a name for the car, it is named after a Rolling Stones song.... Jumping Jack Flash..... quite fitting don't you think? Stay tuned my rowdy friends!
