Hi sis... One request can u pls tell how many hours to keep the idli batter outside in banaglore temperature for perfect fermentation...last time I kept 10 hours outside yet the taste of batter is very bad...am helpless don't know what to do...my kid is unwell and he doesn't likes dosa or idli due to batter taste...don't know where am going wrong ...kindly help

I soak the dal and rice over night Nd grind them early morning , this ferments in 4 or 5 hours - add little poha like a handful

I soak in the morning and grind batter before 4pm and use it next morning so around 12 hrs to 13hrs I keep it for fermentation dear
