For those that worry about surgery (first time for me) three days ago had mine removed and so far I feel so much better and the pain is not that bad, much better than than leaving the gallbladder in. For me I do not like taking pain meds but I took them for the first three days then stopped. Be sure to stay hydrated and use a stool softener as constipation is likely and will help with the bloating cramping feeling. Also, be sure to walk around a little throughout the day to help with the gas pain which should go away 24-48 hours. So far I took the advice of a BRAT diet and so far so good, no nausea or diarrhea. Lost a few pounds 10-15 lbs and can't wait to start adding new foods.

I had my gallbladder removed last week.. it was crazy everything happened within a week. I thought I was having a anxiety attack but I was actually having a gallbladder attack while I was eating. So scary. I ended up so sick nauseous anytime I drink and eat. Ended up in the Er twice. I had so much pain Btwn my shoulder blades lower back and abdomen It was horrible. I had to drink broth and ensure shakes thankfully for nausea medication and prelosic for I dropped about 20 pounds till I had surgery. Glad it’s out and I feel so much better! Glad you are feeling better too!

Sounds exactly like my symptoms! I would get such bad bad nausea, after eating or drinking anything. I am taking Phenergan every couple of hours just to keep food down. I am now officially getting my gallbladder taken out. And I'm so excited to reclaim my life. While I'm on the operating he will also repair an umbilical hernia I have as well. I also have lost a lot of weight. October 2019 I was 193(yes really unhealthy) Now April 2020 I'm 144. This process has been so hard.

Thank you so much for making this video. I have been feeling nauseous nonstop for 2 months now. I’ve had attacks where I have to run to vomit but nothing comes out. Horrid pain if I eat fats in my upper right quadrant and shoulder blade. Had an ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, gastroscopy and am being sent for a hida scan. I’m getting those horrible spasms in my upper right quadrant too after every mouthful of food or drink, I think mine might be overactive too. Thank you for your advice!

Thank you so much for telling your story and for your follow up videos a few months along. This has really helped me. Especially how clearly and concisely you have described your symptoms, surgery and experience. I'm having trouble with my gallbladder. I had really bad symptoms for a year before the doctors could figure out that it was gallstones. Because of COVID and my young age, I didn't want to get it removed yet. So I tried removing fat from my diet and I changed jobs so my stress levels were significantly reduced. I was also taking Nexium which helped all the nausea and the food running through me diarrhoea (thank you saying that no one really believed that my diarrhoea was so bad that 20 minutes later after whatever I ate, I would have diarrhoea) Things got better for a few months. No diarrhoea and just being able to eat actual food again was amazing but now my gallbladder symptoms are flaring up more often again so I'm thinking it may be time to get my gallbladder removed. Thank you for sharing your story. Even though you developed EPI later, your story is really encouraging and I think you made the right decision to have your gallbladder removed. 🤗 Here is a full list of symptoms I experienced if anyone reading is interested (it's not just back pain and diarrhoea like the internet says) -nausea -wicked bad heartburn -migraines on the right side of my head that last for days -right should pain -pain and cramping on top right of abdomen -cramps or stabbing pain in my stomach (top left abdomen) - uncontrollable diarrhoea of course

Thank you so much for this!!!!!! I have been crying for a week now thinking I'm dying and going to leave my child without her Mama 💔 but SO THANKFUL to know that all my symptoms are Gallbladder related. I have done all the research and no that this is what is going on with me and that I need to get my gallbladder removed. I'm at the beginning process with my doctors and they haven't even looked into my gallbladder. They have started me on Prilosec and something for the stomach spasms. Desperate for answers I found your video and it is very comforting to know it will all be over soon and that I will live! 😊🙏

I’m having my surgery in a few weeks and I’m very scared. How is life afterwards? I’m watching a lot of videos and I see a lot of GI issues, thyroid issues, vitamin absorption issues. Have you experienced any of these post opt issues?
@ned1625
@ned1625 2 жыл бұрын
@@sunikababel8814 I had my gallbladder removed in January of 2020. Things seemed so much better right away however living without my gallbladder brings about new challenges. I’m a bit sensitive to certain foods just like before having it out. High fat meals still bother me. Sometimes it feels as if my gallbladder is still a bother. I highly suggest taking a good digestive enzyme supplement before each meal. I will link the one that I currently use I buy it on Amazon I’ve tried a few and this particular one seems to work best. After having my gallbladder out I watched a lot of KZbin videos about liver support because that is so important to do once you are without a gallbladder your liver needs bile l. However if your gallbladder isn’t functioning properly your liver is already suffering. My liver enzymes never have shown up in blood work to have issues but I can tell a huge difference when I’m taking supplements that support my liver. Milk thistle and dandelion root are helpful in aiding with that. I believe that all my gallbladder issues started when I was put on the pill for ovarian cysts that I was getting. From the research that I have done synthetic hormones like the ones you get from birth control can have all kinds of side effects because your liver has a hard time breaking down synthetic hormones. That is what I am linking my gallbladder issues to. I understand each person is different but I find it a little odd that call bladder surgeries are more common for women. 🤷🏼‍♀️ had I known all this before my gallbladder surgery I probably would have just stopped taking the birth control and maybe have done some good liver detoxing. I will link the digestive enzymes for you I hope my information has helped.

Glad you re ok now! My history started like 2 years ago.Dealing with some anxiety attacks when working out.It got to the point i couldnt workout anymore without a serious out of breath.About 5 mounths ago, i discover a h.pilory infection and gone trough the antibiotics and that screwed me up really hard.The anxiety simptoms gone trough the roof, i couldnt eat or even breath right for about 4 weeks.After that i did a ultrasound and discovered 1 stone.I think the anxiety simptons are all associeted with my gallbladdrr stone or it not functioning properly.The doc told mr that this is improbable,but he said that the gb can interfere on the diafragm and this is making my breath hard.Now im scheduled to surgery on march 4.Cannot wait anymore to have a normal life.

On Christmas Day 2021, I found myself in the ER suffering from the most extreme pain I’ve ever felt in my life. I was diagnosed with Acute Cholecystitis (gallbladder disease) and my pain and inflammation was so outrageous there was no question about it; I needed my gallbladder removed urgently. The surgery was difficult to recover from for me, mainly due to all the carbon dioxide that my body was trying to expel. Breathing was very painful and difficult, as I had to keep my posture straight upright in order to be able to breathe at all hardly. I found myself using “lazy breathing” which is when you are taking shallow breaths so as to not incorporate your diaphragm or stomach (deep breathing gave me an awful “pinching” sensation that was ungodly painful). After about 2 weeks, I was fully recovered and eating whatever I wanted again. I have not experienced any problems due to it being removed. No issues at all. Perhaps maybe a bit more sensitive to greasy foods, but very mildly. Not enough to get in my way 😂.

Ultimately I decided to focus on health first so I could jump into the scene feeling good, but as a result I've been postponed 3 months of my life just trying to get this surgery because all of my appointments are spread apart entire months each. It's been horrible. I know I made the right decision to wait because I can't eat anything and I'm constantly throwing up undigested food hours later but it feels lazy and unproductive, I'm ready to be done. I finally get to call the hospital tomorrow and make the appointment to schedule a surgery date. A year old journey of pain will finally come to a close soon. I'm READY.

I felt great for a little over a year after surgery and could basically eat anything I wanted in moderation and felt great. However, about 3 months ago, I started getting terrible pain in my left side when eating fatty foods, and it is now much worse than before my surgery. I am very restricted in what I can eat now and have lost a lot of weight (almost no fat, no dairy, no onions/garlic), and doctors aren’t quite sure what’s wrong (I’m getting tested for exocrine pancreatic insufficiency and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). I plan to make a video on this soon. Go to the ER and INSIST that they take it out! Tell them your pain is always a 10 and you can't live like this anymore... If u give them a sense of urgency, they'll take it out. Good luck!! I can't imagine having attacks every day! 😥

I get mine out on June 2nd. It’s been a long 8 months. My gallbladder is functioning at 86%. Maybe that’s why it feels like I have really bad acid reflux? Antiacids never worked and my endoscopy was normal. The doctor said my stomach was just a little inflamed and my bile thing was fine. God I really hope it goes away after my surgery and the nausea. Like I just want to feel normal again

@@reynagonzalez8983 im feeling much better now. I still get some acid reflux but I’ve been taking a supplement called and I think it’s been helping me. I can really tell the difference without the gallbladder. I can also finally work out or be in the sun without feeling nauseous. Omg and brushing my teeth doesn’t make me nauseous anymore either!(edit: I forgot the name of the supplement hold up)

Mines is the same exact story mine was taking so long so they use a little bit of morphine just to see it go through. So I was diagnosed with cholecystectomy and had surgery two days ago. So hopefully I can gain my weight back I’m currently stuck between 126 and 128 from my main weight of 156

@@jackpeople6415 they never gave me morphine during HIDA. But my result was Biliary Dyskinesia. To see surgeon Wednesday Went back to ED tonight as the pain was out of control, however because my infection markers were ok, they decided to give me a shot of morphine in the butt and send me home and wait for surgeon appointment Wednesday.
