Can the excessive gas/bloating caused by EPI aggravate the vagus nerve while laying down then causing palpitations? Also, what would cause a person w/ EPI to actually gain weight?

My friend has lost weight and no appetite for food and no energy he's on a liquid diet but they tried say it was CHS cause he smoke weed but we knew it wasnt this seems to be wat me and my brothers dad have can't figure out our stomach issues
