Why I watch and support this content creator. I find it refreshing to listen to someone, who has the integrity to call out bad game design, for what it is. This game could be much more. At this point, it's a broken mess, but I still enjoy it. I love this game and have been in and out of it since the beginning. 6,000 plus hours. Thank you for keeping it real.

I do hope the Fun Pimps keep focusing on mod support, its one of the things that make me love this game. It might have bad design, but if I can mod it to my heart's content, I can fine tune the balancing. Modding is not for everyone. But ye, ItzPrebuilt is very good at talking about the game's flaws in a humorous but clear way.

Army post 7 is confusing, I didn't follow the way much and it was wild. But the switch to open the loot room is in the center of the room by the control panels. Took me awhile to realize that myself. It also triggered a couple zombie spawns for that weird room by the loot. Hope ya see this and thank you for another great episode.

Do a video on what you would do differently in launch 1.0 based on what you've learned during this video series. That would be a good conclusion to the series. Fast travel would be amazing. Spending half your day (when time is a valuable resource) cycling or minibiking to another trader in a biome is just painful and discourages any reason to even bother with them. The rewards aren't significantly better. Also, heat can be generated by other zombies beating on blocks, notably metal doors and blocks. If you wake up 20 zombies and they have to beat through walls and metal doors to get to you, it generates a significant amount of heat for screamer spawns.

@@Imae08I Well arguably no, the best strat was just electric fences and blade traps and knowing that SOMEHOW falling 11 blocks and making them take a hike stops them from mindlessly breaking blocks. Iz is not using a base so the only effort towards ease of defeating the horde is just not levelling

I watch you for your educational inputs. I enjoy the meta-analysis of strengths and weaknesses of current patches. I really really enjoyed your immortal brawler guide. I think it's the video that made me subsribe to this channel. I like the analytical and logical side, even though it's filled with cynicism. The latter is just part of the charm.

The Carpet Warehouse is resilient (Question @27:26) because the poles that hold up the frame are 10,000 hp. I only know this because acid ripped through all the blocks, except those blocks. Thanks for uploading.

In an earlier episode you mentioned that you would use a rocket launcher. Would you be willing to explore a playthrough that uses explosives as the primary means of dealing damage? Explosive bolts/Arrows and throwables with the Rocket Launcher as a PoI clearing tool. I would love to see your take on using crumbling buildings as a way to complete clear missions on low tier PoI's

oh F, I was all "confussed" on what happened!, was counting quests feeling I'd overdone the rank but the record didn't prove my suspitions. BTW hate the new small tier 5/6 infested , such an overdensity everywhere. Ben using stealth waaaaay more.

i feel like its a percentage chance for them to spawn so you might be getting lucky sometimes and them not spawning as sometimes its the opposite, idk shit abt this game but thats my theory

Just did army post 7 the other day, and could not find a way in either, so I did the same thing you did to get in but behind the panel was a bunch of zombies.

The gyrocopter should be able to take off vertically. It doesn't really make sense that it can't. It's not a plane, it doesn't have wings. The forward momentum shouldn't be relevant to a takeoff. But a lot of endgame loot is at the tops of buildings xD and I can see tfp not wanting us to use that shortcut. I do it anyway, because it's super fun xD. Just destroy some railings and fly off after looting ^^ Or jump.

Sorry, I've got to reply. The rotor on a gyro is unpowered, the air flowing past it from your forward movement is what causes it to spin. Some high end gyros have a small motor that starts the rotor moving, but that is just to reduce the takeoff distance. They can land nearly vertically, and fly very slowly (30MPH), but still require a runup to takeoff.

Had the same happen to me, was half way through doing teor 6 and it reset me back to tier 3s. Not sure if I'm going to continue or start over

On the bright side, the Drone Medic mod DOES work with physician now, which is nice. Cant wait for mine to kill me though

It took me several minutes to find that button as well. Normally, I see them quickly, but that room and the hallway next to it was filled with Rads and ferals running around, and I missed the button in the general chaos. Searching afterward was annoying.

With the OP of the full assassin set, and the updated screamer heat spawn thing, I've come to the conclusion that TFP are pushing people to play stealth. Also, my previous playthrough on B317 completely broke after updating to B328, so I've restarted, and, despite speccing almost solely into agility, I'm still getting more stun baton and baton parts, than anything else. Well done TFP. Such a good decision.

I'm devastated that I've waited for so long for this game to be updated. Just to find that as soon as you collect to many items in your base or changed the layout of a base to much, the game starts to glitch out and disappearing your items out the box. I cant believe in 7 years they still havent sorted this out. 😫

I feel like 1.0 has more zombie spawns than ever, inside and outside of POIs. First time I've specced for explosives, though it's been fun raining rockets on tight-packed zombies.

So glad I avoided it. Shocked it took so long for a major bug. Now if they could just properly balance this game. I swear this is the worst the balance has been but I know the pimps will manage to make it worse somehow.

The Alpha before they brought in the books. Basically after they did that you need a research bench and a whole lot of mods to make the game playable 😢

It was an evening on day 8, burnt forest, i just got back home, put my bicycle in the garage, cook 8pcs murky water, and the game spawns 4 feral screamers in my backyard. I don't understand.

Honestly I don't think the game really deserves the 1.0 label, and I feel like the fun pimps only did that to give a reason to launch it on console for extra revenue for development. I fully expect the game to completely change it's entire structure again within the next 2 or 3 years.

Yea, went from 5 to 1, no progress at all. I'm not as quick as ya, but still annoying, it was a decent enough a save. At least I didn't have to go back to rekt or nothin... but frigging still.

they don't even do anything funny with the button presses calling in zombies, they could put a sign that says "push for assistance" next to and then have it spawn a bunch of zombies but nooo that's too hard to program
