Goor try but I think you will love using landscape fabric in the bottom of your containers! It also works to keep the rollies polies or pil bugs out. I've been using Land scape for almost 50 years! I'm 73 and still love my gardening. Glad you love what you do. Garden Queen sent with love!!!

Love the planter placed on the pedestal.! One thing I like to do is take pots of forced spring bulbs, mixed like you have, placed in a bag lined rectangular rattan or wicker basket, cover the gaps with fake moss. Put on my table. The plastic bag allows me to water the pots as needed. After the season I just put my rattan basket away or use for something else. For your planter on the pedestal.. use the filler, spiller, thriller recipe. Your thriller is the beautiful eye catcher. It might stand tall like a spire of decorative grass or a short evergreen. The filler is the thing that kind of fills in the space between, and the spiller is the one that drapes over the sides. Like a ivy or a petunia. It will highlight the pedastalling of the planter.

Your channel came on while I was dealing with infestation which suddenly appeared on long cuttings which i have had in large jugs for 2 months or so. They leafed out, many got roots, then leaves were suddenly curling, drying ( I top up water often & change entire water in all of the jugs when I blv it is needed...a half day job) so suddenly I saw the little wings & dry dots on the inside of t he large clear bags that most of the cuttings are in. They take up so much space in my small home, where in the world did these aphids come from all of a sudden? A few got on my large planter w. a fig in it. hand picked them off. Wonder if you experience this in your space where you mentioned just now that you have a lot of plants. You are doing a great job! Snow melting here in the NE today w. bright sun...but cold wind.

Thank you! Caladiums are so simple but elegant at the same time. The variation in the leaf pattern I feel really set the arrangement off! I am so excited about the Hellebores I will find this Spring season 2023!
