1. So take the cut off, add to it the average GD/PI marks that you think candidates get. Then see how much is the cut off. This difference is what you need to score extra in the exam. As a rule of thumb, score around 10-20 marks more than the cut off 2. You can check out some websites such as bankersadda

Don't think speaking in regional languages during a GD will fetch you good marks. You can however request the panel to conduct the interview in regional language if they are okay with it.

No. I was in underwriting. They hire people in actuarial deptt via specialist stream. I was a generalist.

The art to decide 2 things- 1. do you want to issue a policy (take on some risk in exchange of money ie premium) 2. if you do want to issue a policy then what should be its premium Underwriters take the technical premium provided by actuarial deptt and then decide the final market premium based on the market trends and business concerns.

See there can be a chance where panel decides to question you on why you want to appear for the interview in Hindi (if you have appeared for the exam and filled the form in English). But chances are low...so that's why important to seek permission beforehand just to be clear.
