I wonder how much does it cost to put that rig together. You might be close to the price of a C200 or Ursa mini pro if you consider the time it takes to assemble the rig and be ready to shoot. When I tried smaller cameras with rigs like this it made it hard to run and gun, and I would end up taking the monitor out or the follow focus. I love the video though, and the footage for the docs is looking great man. Great work.
@joshuamartinstudios5 жыл бұрын
It is very expensive bro but my filmmaking journey is totally different. I have been truly blessed to have worked with several companies that have exchanged products for content to some degree. So yes, at face value this rig is just as expensive as an fs5, fs7 and evening an Ursa mini pro. So in order for me to really capitalize on my situation, I’ve invested in certain pieces of gear that I know will help me with the kind of content want to create. Yeah the down side is that it's hard to be nimble but I've worked a way to set it up exactly how I need it
@AxelAxe5 жыл бұрын
Joshua Martin Studios that makes a lot of sense. You gotta get the gear however you can get your hands on it. Hope to see some of your docs or narrative projects soon. I love your b roll and that anamorphic glass is beautiful. Can’t wait to see you tackle some new projects this year man. Much love.

Joshua Martin Studios Is the pocket cam worth it, despite the awful rolling shutter?
@joshuamartinstudios4 жыл бұрын
How often are you whipping your camera back and forth? Haha If you care color science...it worth. But the pocket isn't for everyone. You footage know what you need from a camera and how to build around that system
@carolinagoldentertainment66294 жыл бұрын
Joshua Martin Studios I tend to move my camera a little bit more, but think I was asking the wrong question. I have used the pocket camera before, and since you own one you might have noticed this. That camera’s rolling shutter will kick in even on the slowest of pans. I don’t see that on other cameras. I noticed it even on a cartoni tripod that’s rated to handle a 25lb rig. Does that get better as you get used to operating the BMPCC4K? Thanks for your help!

Hey man! Sorry for the late response. I've only used the 50 2x adapter. Its a bit tough using it as a run and gun anamorphic setup because you'll need a ranger too. Which makes the whole setup bulky. the 40 compact would be ideal
