I don't think any moment could ever be nearly as iconic because there are spoilers everywhere. Intros even spoil things in newer animes. I was 9 years old. I was so overrun with emotions for this moment. I cant even explain it, but its something I will never forget.

I’ll never forget that helpless feeling at 9 years old after watching Piccolo fall first, then Krillin mere moments later. I wanted to reach through my tv and strangle Frieza with every fiber of my being! What is so iconic about the Freeza fight is that it s emotional. You get invested in it. At first you feel hrlpless for Goku and friends, and then after the SSJ transformation you are happy to see Freeza get slapped, pushed around until he loses his shit so bad that ends up cutting himself in half :D

Granted it is a epic moment but like many other moments you seem to be more into impact her reply by leading. I also really don't like it when you talk before its clear or mess with the anticipation. You probably don't even realize it. When my kids seen this and I had seen it before I allowed the anticipation to hit again by in the moment reactions. They never knew I already seen it. I let them lead the conversation so not to spoil the event. I remember a guy ran out yelling about how all the avengers died. He got his ass handed to him buy the people who had not that very impotent event. I would suggest pull back your excitement and the eager moments and let the woman have a big of breathing room in the event. This still hits hard watching it after several years since it's first debut. The immense pain and anger that was boiling up inside of Goku is what made him tap into that legendary power. The Super Saiyan myth that Vegeta spoke about. It's said that Goku was actually meant to be the legendary Super Saiyan. The power had to be tapped into through pain and suffering, or the pain of loss. Which Frieza unexpectedly forced Goku to release. So technically, Frieza was the cause of his own downfall without even realizing it, lol.
