For those of you wondering, yes, I really am TimTom’s Mom! We were so lucky to have Grandma Emma. Unfortunately she has passed, but we were blessed to have her in our lives, and I’m happy that Tim was able to share her with all of you. ❤️

I also have a grandma who’s isn’t a blood relative, and honestly I don’t care. Right before I was born my “real” grandma died, so I never got to meet her. My parents asked her best friend to be our grandma and she agreed, and honestly to me she is just as much my grandma as my other grandma

It didn't hurt too much until the veiwing, but when I consciously found that she couldn't say hi, or give us a hug, I got a sad feeling in my gut. It's still one of my biggest regrets in life that I didn't keep touch as much as I got older. I hope she knows in Heaven, that I will always love her. I'm lucky I had my own "Emma" who took care of me as a child. She is a bit of a weird lady, but I mean that in the best way possible. She would do anything for my sisters and I. Now we can't see each other that much because she is busy taking care of her own grandchildren but I still remember her waking me up for school and asking me which cartoon character I wanted to be for the day (I was obsessed with roleplaying my favourite characters as a kid and she played along with it). She always uses odd idioms and mannerisms that I've never heard of, and I'm completely sure she makes them up on the spot lol Sorry for the long comment. My grandma also isn’t related by blood! My grandma passed when my dad was a kid and my grandma now is my deadbeat grandpa’s second wife and she is wonderful ❤ she taught me how to bake and raised me when my parents were working a majority of the time. Love this video Tim!

A similar thing happened to me when my family moved to Florida. We met a nice elderly couple that were very sweet and they treated us like their grandchildren since we first met. They were very caring and they didn't drink alcohol which was a plus sense my biological grandparents would get drunk and hurt themselves alot. They are the best thing to happen to us.
