I booked flights for today (Easter Sunday) to Palma, there in the morning, back late night, because I thought sunny Mallorca would be the perfect place to spend the day, walking around in the warm sunshine. But unfortunately the weather forecast looked really bad, and when EasyJet decided yesterday to change for a smaller plane, and ask volunteers to give up their seats for a refund, I gave it up. But maybe another time.

Hi been watching a few of your videos on Majorca but have never been so not sure which is the best resort for us. We are a couple in our late 40s and would like to stay in a fairly quiet area no nightclubs. We like swimming, walking, cycling, boat trips and of course relaxing and sightseeing. Looking for an adults only hotel preferably and budget is around 1K for 7 nights. Have been looking at Alcudia and the Astoria Playa and wondered if you had any knowledge of it and if it's a nice place to stay? Many thanks! 🌴☀️😎

I've priced Majorca ( Cala d'Or) for June 2025 and the prices seem so unusually high? Alot more than Cyprus which is normally a dear European destination and alot more than I've paid previously for Majorca. Is this a Balearic thing or Spain in general?

That is a really good question. I have never heard of an upper age limit for car hire in Mallorca. I know there is a minium, but not an upper. But double check with the hire company when you book.
