I personally think that the reason men's hair grows so fast and long is because they don't style it or tease it a lot. The less you mess with it the better results. No breakage or split ends.

Hey princess, if you want to grow your hair, LEAVE IT ALONE! I promise you, if you manage to not comb or manipulate your hair more than once a week (wash day), and be gentle any time you do, you'll be just fine 😉 Also no super tight hairstyles, your hairline will thank me later (plus you could keep your twist as a hairstyle for several weeks, that's the best)

I was a big fan of twists as a natural curly hairstyle and regimen, but I kept falling in and out of it because of the constant twisting and re-twisting. This is much easier. Definitely my favorite twist tutorial. Also, I kept at doing twists for a month straight (including some fall out from de tangling wrong and regular hair shedding), and my hair still grew probably a half inch. Consistency is key y'all!

I have to say you are one of the best editors here on yt. I try to get juicy plump twists but when I twist directly after rinsing my DC they come out small and flat 😫 I have to let it dry a while (forever) and then twist on dry/semi dry hair for them to look like this. Will, you and I have almost the same method! Except I don’t untwist my twists when I go to moisturize. I internally slap my leave in and cream on top of the twist. When I have disrespectful looking twists I will then finger derange that particular twist and if my hair is moisturizer enough, I don’t have to re-water my hair when I retwist it

How do your twist not get frizzy after washing tho?
@CheekyPoo225 жыл бұрын
After consistent preening and regular maintenance of this process, your twists are bound to defeat frizz because the strands have been "disciplined" over a nice amount of time. The hair cuticles become more obedient and lie down easier, which leads to shine and way less frizz!

I go to the gym 5 days a week and I sweat a LOT. I have to wash my hair after each workout because my scalp gets irritated easily by the sweat before I even leave the gym. So, I have to twist my hair 5 times a week. It's cumbersome but worth it. By the way, your hair is gorgeous! 😍🤗

I just had this discovery six months ago. I think mini twists are literally the best style for natural hair. They make washday a whole lot easier and maintaining easier as well. You get the same benefits as you would if you were wearing extension braids except you get to care for your hair better.

I loved using that shea moisture deep conditioner but after a while I noticed that my hair wouldn’t be as moisturized as before and actually ended up dry and it turned out the deep conditioner has protein in it and protein and my hair don’t mix😢 time to find a new deep conditioner now...love the twists though Will!!

If you're protein sensitive you might do better with an actual deep conditioner (a lot of people use deep conditioner/masks (masque) interchangeably. Deep conditioners are for moisture while (strengthening) masks are for protein) The Aussie moist 3 minute miracle is a good deep conditioner 👍🏾

I hate shampooing my hair in twists so I usually twist my hair when I deep condition and leave the twists in when I rinse the deep conditioner out. If I plan on wearing 2 strand twists I’ll just use a leave in spray over my twists. A day or so later I’ll actually use a moisturizer and retwists my hair making them neater and I don’t do anything else until wash day.
