Amazing that your hair is growing back and making progress! I had a similar issue, not so much the scalp irritation but hair falling out in strands rather than breaking off. I wasn't sure if it was protein overload or heat damage or the fact I was trying lots of different products...but my hair would not stop falling out. What's been working for me is the Olaplex range and I've also started using natural aloe vera leaves on my hair (when washed properly and without the yellow residue). Nothing new but thought I'd share if you haven't tried it before and if you do, hopefully, will help you too!

Hey Ayaan, thank you so much! I'm sorry to hear you had a similar issue! I've definitely had protein overload before (doing an ACV rinse helped SO much). Also, I loveeee olaplex products so I see eye to eye with you on that one!

Thanks for sharing! I have been going through this for the past year and have been doing a lot of protective styles. That could be contributing to my hair not growing back. I used to have really thick hair and now it’s really thin and just don’t look good on it’s own. I’m going to get a hair cut soon and hope that it’ll help with the loss. Thanks for sharing

Hey Dejaniere, no problem thank you for watching! When I did my passion twists I found that A LOT of my hair fell out. The protective styles could be why. Maybe you should give it a break for a few months? I recently visited a Trichologist and after looking at my hair she told me that the tight hairstyles were the reason for part of my hair loss. That video will be going up tomorrow if you want to check it out too. I hope this helps, stay encouraged 💖

Honestly, I had telogen effluvium as well mine had started August 2020 and I'm still losing hair from the root. It's not as much though, it's very little hair but still coming out from the root. I still have very thick hair thankfully but compared to how my hair was back then my hair was more thicker and scalp way more full. My hair is starting it grow back so that's a relief but honestly I can't wait till shedding stops completely

Im famous! Ive had dermatitis for over 15 years and the only thing that works for me is ketaconzole. Never experienced hair loss. Glad to see your hair is doing better.

Haha love that lol! Does the ketaconzole dry your hair out at all? In my experience it has. And thank you, I'm happy to be doing better! 🥰

@@SullyG My hair is short so it doesn't dry it out but t-gel does. I try to focus mainly on the scalp as well.
