In case y'all don't know, blonde hair as an adult is almost as rare as red hair. Unless you live somewhere like Norway. Being blonde myself, and having white blonde hair as a child, I was just grateful my hair didn't turn light brown as both my parents did. I'm glad I never hated my own shade of blonde just because it got darker with age. Obviously not the first person to say this but your natural color is gorgeous and compliments your eyes so well!

I have not tried a turban but my hair is also straight, fine and kinks in a braid. One way I like to sleep is to separate my hair into two sections and twist each in the same direction and then twist the two sections around each other in the opposite direction and tie the end with scrunchie. You must twist the 2 smaller twists in the opposite direction or it will fall out. It keeps the hair together like a braid but gives more of a several day old curled look than the kinks I get with braid waves. I hope this may be helpful to someone!

guys...air is a chemical. everything is a chemical. you're not allergic to chemicals, you're allergic to specific ingredients that irritate your skin personally. some people are allergic to peanuts, but that doesn't mean theyre bad for everyone. dont fear-monger "chemicals." natural doesn't have a standardized definition. hair dye is not simply a chemical on its own, it's just an irritant. it's a harsh substance, not chemical. i left peppermint essential oil on my scalp on accident and it gave me blisters and burns...and it's "natural." stop calling things "chemicals," and start calling them, "irritants," and that usually will only apply to you and some other people. loved the video, though :)

So, I'm Scandinavian. I have platinum blonde hair even as an adult in my early 30s. In winter my hair tends to turn reddish golden blonde with platinum highlights. So darker. What always helped.is about once a month put peroxide on my roots and either sit out in the sun or blowdry. Don't do it too often though. Lightens the hair a a few shades. Then once spring comes my hair lightens naturally anyway. Peroxide works beautifully on natural blonde hair. Just make sure you use a hair mask and condition very well after. Oh my hair is very healthy and soft and shiny. It's also down to my butt.

Getting called "Dirty blonde" or such term made me not really value my own natural colour, like it was "not pretty anymore". I liked black/dark, esp as my mother was dark haired and has since gone a beautiful silver. I think healthy hair beats any colour and I'm a few months back into my natural hair transition. I remember my husband's family (Hispanic) shocked me by telling me my 2-3 inches of roots were blonde, and I realised I was comparing my natural blonde to bottle blondes and ruining it with heat/dye in the process. Hey a similar thing happened to me. I started dying my hair age 15 and I allways bleached dyed or toned it every 2-3 months. In spring 2021 my sculp and body started to react differently, I had a constant itch but no dandruff redness or rashes. I was showering 2x a day and washing my hair every day (I sweat so much from working, also I did sports... and showered to long and to often) I can't use shower gels anymore. My dermatologist just gave me a re-fatting shampoo. My sculp is very sensitive. I took medicine for a year against my acne and now my skin and sculp is even more sensitive. I can only shower every other day and not with hot water, I still can use only very mild sensitive shampoos, and my head allways itches. If I use the wrong shampoo my body itches for a couple of days (I assume cause the water runs over the body) I don't know if this is an allergy like contact dermatitis but I think it is cause certain ingredients I can no longer use. Even in skincare products some just make my face feel burning.

It's pretty much the same process as Cold Process Soap making, just you do 20% castor oil for shampoo bars instead of the usual 5% for soap. Simple, cheap (mine come out to $2-3/bar but you can save more if you buy in greater bulk) and totally addicting making shampoo bars, soaps, shaving bars, etc as gifts for friends/family and the best part is you have 100% total control over your formula. You can even use rice water to make them :)

Life would have been so easy if i was blonde too. Just imagine putting henna in it, no bleach, healthy, shiny ..ahh the dream

Honestly i want to add that it's sad how we never seem to be happy with what we have. She used to dye her hair almost black even if most people believe "blonde hair" is what everyone wants. Rather, it seems we always want the other thing 😢

It's crazy I went through something so similar except I didn't go to cosmetology school I just dyed my hair until I got allergic to it I went to the hospital with blisters and chemical burn for the longest time the only thing I used was baby shampoo I was scared of everything else I just recently started using different shampoos/ conditioner and my hair has grown out all natural to the middle of my back and I'll never dye it again I have very fragile hair so it's been difficult to grow out but I'm finally getting a routine Thank you for sharing your story

Please please please someone, would you recommend anything I could spray into my hair that would help unravel tangles and “clingy hair”? I’m a male, part of my “to do list” in life was to grow my hair to my tailbone. I nearly sheared all of my hair off in a snit, due to my frustrations of tangled hair. I have about 1 foot left for my tailbone length while level headed. I have very fine hair strips and numerous. Please recommend the best natural spray I can use to help comb and untangle clingy hair? Thank you

Don't shampoo bars cause friction on wet hair. Which is prone to more damage.

I just lather mine in my hands and rub in, rubbing directly on my hair just feels weird to me but that's just me

Unpopular opinion: natural blonde hair whether light medium, dark, ashy, golden, etc. Is wayyy better looking than colored blonde. There's just so much depth, dimension, tone, and life in natural blonde hair. I dont even think it can be 100% imitated. Its funny writing this because my hair is naturally black. 😂

I’m growing my hair out. I’m having trouble with really dry ends. I’m trying to find a shampoo and conditioner that works well but I can’t seem to figure it out. I’m currently trying apple cider vinegar for a rinse and it’s ok. I have curly hair and it makes it so much more difficult.

I switch to all natural shampoo and my hair has never been healthier. My ends are still a bit dry but I've stop blow drying and it has helped so much. But once a week mask is a must. I use JR Liggett's bar shampoo and will never ever use anything else. My hair is curly/wavy as well. Might work or might not work for you but never give up hope to see what works for your hair!

Here in the UK your type of blonde is very common, it's called Celtic blonde.
