so sorry! i lost my rat boy horacio yesterday after a month long struggle with old age catching up to him. it never gets easy but they know their humans loved them for however long they live.

I had two hamsters pass years ago. Sprinkles in 2007 and Kandy in 2015. I was heart broken. It sucks losing your furry best friend no matter what breed of animal they are you lost a family member. I'm so sorry this has happened to you and I hope you're okay. 💝

@@SAKSOON and I saw him as one of the most loved and happy hamsters. I think when you know that a pet has had a bad start ( first family) it can make you feel like you need to make up for the lack of love and care that they had. Grief after losing your furbaby can make you doubt everything you did or make you think you didn't do enough. In the end you loved him and gave him a forever home. He knew love and comfort until the very end, aren't those truly what's important. Sending hugs. Our boy is two years and three months old and the last of the litter that was surendered to the Humane Society he was adopted from. I know I have given him a good life but I always wonder what could make Sagittarius' time her better? I think when you love such a small delicate creature it is easy to be too hard on yourself. I know Pepper was loved and well cared for. Even if you have doubts I am positive he was very happy to have a loving home with you.

I'm so sorry! Dealing with pet loss is horrible. 😔 You gave adorable little Pepper a great life, and beautiful cage themes, and ceramic items, and love... I can tell you cared for him so much. He was a happy little potato ❤. Rest in peace Pepper. 💕 It killed me seeing him so shaky and helpless :( that really made me sad. Chili is such a loyal bird, it was sweet that she stayed with you and watched over Pepper. I buried my past hamster Elfie next to my first hamster Benjy, underneath a tree. This video reminded me of how I felt when I had to let go and bury my hamsters when they passed. I wish hamsters lived longer, they are such amazing creatures that have such a big impact on the humans that love and care for them.

I understand losing pets hard I lost my cat bubbles 2017 she had cancer she was Queen of my house and boy did you know it and my 2 boy rats scabbers had a stroke and scamp was palize legs heart breaking as my rats would get out of cage and never escape.i had Al ready had 6 pets when I had scabbers and scabbers.rats we have wormtail and fang and scabbers 2 and Peter and ichey and scrathey and 2 hampsters ghost and spirit .they never be replaced my 2 rats different to my other rats I just gave everyone one love but miss them so much I got there ashes I cry 😭 at their birthday and Christmas and Halloween on their ages I have on fridge and say morning and night every day

😢 I’m going through this now, my hammy was shaking like this and I was sure I was going to loose her. After 2 days of thinking any minute now she is going to pass, she miraculously gained some strength and has been with me another 3 weeks. She no longer shakes but she shuffles around her cage with very little strength and sleeps most of the time. I know she hasn’t got long left and I’m trying to make her feel as comfortable as possible. She is 25 months old 🙏

This was a really beautiful tribute to Pepper! It was lovely to get to see him come and live a happy, long life, full of cuddles (2+ years is a good life for hamsters). 07:46 똑같아요 제 마지막 햄스터랑.. 죽기 직전에도 화장실을 가리고 화장실을 들어서 은신처 앞에 놔주니까 몸을비틀면서 몇십분만에 겨우 들어가서 은신처 안에서 죽었어요 .. 참 깨끗하게 죽었어요. 엎드려서 죽어서 얼굴도 안보였는데 확 퍼진 모습이.. 은신처가 너무 작았겠구나 했어요. 고슴도치 은신처를 줬어야 했나봐요. 죽은모습 무서워서 쓰다듬지도 못했는데 죽은지 6개월인데 아직도 남의 햄스터 영상 찾아보고 슬퍼요 ㅜ.ㅜ
