I think all of your makes are lovely. You look wonderful in your "final" evening outfit". Holiday ( vacation here in Texas) is the time to try out those outfits that are different to your usual style. When I was much younger "hot pants" were the thing. I loved wearing my one pair with a slightly cropped top on vacation evenings and weekend gettaways! I grew up in the Bible Belt and would not dreamed of wearing a cropped top much less " hot pants". Thank you for another awesome video.

If you made a slip dress, say from the Ogden Cami, maybe in black, the leopard top would look great over the top of it for a different look or bit of layering. Wearing it over a dress gets rid of the concern about flashing your midriff. I think it would look really lovely.

Ooh Cath, complete me made holiday wardrobe, you must be pleased with yourself. I thought it would include the Charlie Caftan, I have several I use as daytime coverup over swimwear( after I have worn them for an evening!) Your Ogden cami hacks are inspired, I have lengthened one into a dress but I must try your hack of a gathered skirt, it looks so pretty! Did you wear your me made swimwear too? I haven’t plucked up the courage to make swimwear yet!

Thanks so much Mary! It was lovely to have an opportunity to wear all of them. The Charlie caftan is such a good one for holidays isn’t it! I did wear memade swimwear too 😊 I’ll hopefully share it in another video. It took me a bit of time to work up to sewing swimwear but it wasn’t as tricky as I thought it might be, hope you find the same if you give it a try 😊

I made the saguaro top for my 38yr old (hippie'ish,) daughter in Small, even though her measurements are medium. The fabric was a cotton gauze. (My first mistake... Gauze). She's a spring and her best colors has always been orange, sherbet, cantiloups. So when i spotted the fabric in a remnant bin i bought the pattern. She hated it To big, to floppy, just toooo tooo So i removed the elastic under the bust, and shirred about 6 rows and also on the floppy annoying (her words) sleeve hemline, another 6 rows. And sewed up the plunging neckline. Now it's all least acceptable..... For weeding the garden and yard work and the beach.. Bahaha.
