I have a crazy idea. The sea floor spreading going on currently in Iceland may be pushing all the tectonic plates apart causing the volcanos to heat up and become active. That is why it seems to be happening all at once, because it is after all one big system!

Happy New year Silki. I saw some of the attacks. Morons. "She's not a scientist." My response is, if I want to listen to a scientist (and I listen to MANY), I'd go find one. What those idiots do not understand, is that a non-science report, made by someone who knows OUR language and can explain it so very clearly, is many times more preferable to science natter. Sometimes science lingo is just so much noise, EVEN if I understand it. Sometimes I don't want to make the effort. You have a very pleasing personality, you don't try and act like you know it all and you DO make some of this stuff easier to understand. I have some dreaded lurghy going on (RSV? Flu? Covid? who knows) and I don't WANT to go and listen to my geologists and volcanologists, I was a smart plain spoken person to talk so I don't have to THINK. In fact, you're the only one I've been listening to because I AM brain dead right now. One other thing. Since I have joined your channel and have been playing catch up, YOU have grown in knowledge as well. How can you not, but you keep adding more to your knowledge bank and that makes you a valuable commodity in the podcast arena. So. Eff the jealous little minds and tell em to piss off. WE appreciate you.

It is sometimes a bumpy ride with youtube , one day they decided to just not pay for my videos as they said it is paid views, a common problem on youtube, where YT gets it wrong , it was definitely NOT the case and my channel was running normal, the other day they demonetize a video because I said that there is scientific proof that volcanoes have caused volcanic winters .... and so on. I guess it comes with being a KZbinr, frustrating and I see others people making videos about that. There is not much we can do.
