This is one of the cleanest release I have seen on our manchu bows, especially at this draw weight. Great improvements!

@@iyoo1 It's very interesting to see how you have tried and adapted styles. I'm still trying to learn the cylindrical ring.

@@mrln247 i tried traditional manchu ring and i wasn't good at it. that's a tricky thing to manipulate. :)

@@iyoo1 Persistence is getting me somewhere, getting a fit so you don't send the ring along with the arrow is tricky.

I like the camera angle at 1:30 since I can see the path of the arrow after being shot!
@asl6304 Жыл бұрын
Also, your quiver looks like it's made of crocodile leather which is so cool!
@iyoo1 Жыл бұрын
@@asl6304 thank you so much. i'll use that angle more often. also, quiver is made of fake leather, but i thought i would try it. :)

Is that custom-painted? I love that look, but I saw that alibow's grape pattern was a little more orange than this one. How did you manage that color scheme? I love your videos!
@iyoo111 ай бұрын
thank you. i get bored so i paint my bows and make some modifications for fun. :)

@@iyoo1 That's so cool! What sort of paints do you use to get it to stick to the leather? I'm interested in doing something similar to my Qinghai! And my Yarha whenever I get one, haha.
@iyoo111 ай бұрын
@@Dom_Smalls spray paint to begin with, then, i used some paint powder mixed with resin. that makes them stick to the bow really well. you will see some cracks as you use the bow but you can do this 3 times or so then it looks better. hope to see you shooting your Yarha 2 soon. ^_^

Whats your goal in archery? Target? 3d? Fun? Historical? Meditation? It matters.
@iyoo1 Жыл бұрын
thanks. that depends on what you like to achieve in archery. also, personal preferences and one's personality will have big affects on it. or you can try many different ways of shooting and 'feel' what you like. that's what i say to my friends who want to learn archery. :)
@mrln247 Жыл бұрын
I'm slowly teaching myself archery for fun and interest not competition. Definitely just try both, I like the long draw with no anchor but traditional English longbow (warbow) was a long draw anyway, thumb draw has a slight advantage of giving maybe another 2-3" of draw length over finger's and is well suited to Manchu bows.

@@mrln247 agree. love the Asiatic way of shooting. ^_^
