A guy with a V-Rod who makes youtube videos? Thought I was the only one haha. Good tasteful mods on the bike man, I like what you've done with it. I'm on a 2006 VRSCD Night Rod. So far I've upgraded to an LED headlight (but not turn signals yet like yours), TAB Performance slip ons (baffled), high performance air filter, fuel manager/tuner, aftermarket airbox cover (fake gas tank), and I've got some other new fenders to put on... work in progress. Yours looks great. I enjoyed the video from start to finish and sub'd for more vrod vids!

Michael Hendrix Me or Ray? I love having the mid controls and the forward pegs for stretching out. Best of both worlds. But if that's not for you, check out 1130cc.com forum there's lots of info on how to switch to forward controls. There are even people who may do a straight up trade with you for your mid controls.

Great video, I just picked up an 09 nightrod this year. I would love to ditch the rear signals. I also plan to buy a carbon fibre tank and put some skull Harley belt buckles mounted on either side, gonna need some welding done there to modify the belt buckles though

Hey question for you on the mirror re-location kits. Did you find that the bottom tab on one of the arms didn't actually "clip" in?

Have you had a problem with the mirrors getting loose ( doesn't stay adjusted in position, slides down on the ball)? How did you fix that? There is no bolt/ screw on that swivel ball and I've read a lot of nightrod owners have the problem but no permanent fix..

ASHUU A no i have no problem with them. I actually put lock tite on it. But as far as the the turn signal no matter what i do i bump into it it gets loose

Allan H no sir no electrical issue. Only thing i had issues with is over time the les would wear out and one led would blow out and then that would cause the hyper flash

Wrong description regarding the license plate relocation bracket, the link he described is for mounting on a axle nut , and the one you installing is on the rear left shock. Fucked me up big time, order it and ended up not installing it as i didnt want to open the rear axle.

I'm considering doing the same, thanks to your video I realized the extenders are good to make sure it doesn't hit the tank. I am going to get rid of the turn signals however and replace them with something smaller and led based (2010 night rod)

David Cumps David Cumps if you are getting rid of the front turn signals you do not need the extenders. You can simply just turn your mirrors upside down. You will need washers or spacers or cut the threads shorter since they will be long. Look at custom dynamics for led fork turnsignal. Or they make mirrors with integrated led in them and just turn them upside down
