from JAPAN.　　Dire Straits is one of my favorite bands, along with BAND-MAID(A Japanese female hard rock band. Check them out if you like.).　The vocals show the influence of Bob Dylan.　Most notable is Mark Knopfler's fingerpicking guitar.　His guitar solos are technical, very emotional, and full of his personality.　They are also very accomplished as a live band, and have a sophistication that you don't find in rock bands that approach you with loud music.　Anyway, I really enjoy listening to this band.
