I'm not reading the manga since I started with the anime AND they're consistently releasing it unlike AOT where I was tempted for 4 years but held out hope. The music and voices of the anime help ALOT to get me emotionally involved and cry at crazy epic or sad moments. Books and manga at most I'm invested but curiousity and annoyance comes from deaths and moments rather than tears so far. Shock more than tears.

​@@FarikoWishless I don't want to spoil you in any way so all I'm gonna say is that as a manga reader I've never been more excited for a manga arc to be adopted as anime than for what we'll get in season 4. They already released some of the new soundtracks and absolutely can't wait to see what the finished scenes with those playing will look like but I can already tell it's gonna be gooood. Honestly with this show I'd reccomend the anime over the manga any day, the abosultely amazing music and voice acting really does make a huge differnce when it comes to getting emotionally invested.

Marketa was right. In the first intro, Deku started _on the ground,_ looking up at All Might from behind, looking dazed and uncertain. But in the second intro, he's standing on top pf a building, looking more ready while All Might is jumping through the air, symbolizing how Deku has become closer to him.

The thing is, there is no quirk that can be transferred from one person to another in public knowledge (aside from inheriting a parent's quirk). Midoriya says as much in the second episode of the first season. So even when people pick up that they have similar quirks, there's no thought that All Might somehow gave him his quirk.

Ochaco as a lil girl is so cute. I can't handle her! She's so precious, and her goal is so selfless. I mean she just wants to give back to her parents, especially since she's in UA. I mean from what I got from the series/franchise UA, might be a national school but it's still paid for in some way? And then there are expenses for the school supplies and books, and her costume and all that jazz. Plus her parents don't live in the city. she's living in a school-owned flat. So there is also living away from home expenses, like the food she'll need outside of the one provided by the cafeteria. It has to put some strain on the already strained finances, which is why she's so goddam determined. and why she was so impressed at Iida being from wealthy family.

You guys should look into the animation team too. The first season had a blend of very experienced and brand new aspiring artists. And moving into season 2 some of those experienced artists had other projects and those aspiring artists took over and came into their own. People are mentioning Ep 10 but they don't mention the guest writter behind it is very skilled. Also because they are on a time limit and rushing to air. Things get missed in terms of quality and some animators go back and do massive amounts of touch up for the Blue Ray release. So sometimes you will be seeing stuff better than when it aired

Also, addendum to the point Chris makes about the Japanese heroes having English hero identities, I suppose it works along the same lines as Western superhumans who have foreign language names and alter egos from other cultures, like Ra's Al Ghul, Loki, The Mandarin, Kali, etc. For those who've watched as far as Season 3, there are some names which seem fairly one note or obvious descriptors of the characters, but for a Japanese audience, it's the same sort of novel naming convention.

I don't think it has been mentioned yet how the license works for international travels. However, All Might went to the U.S. after getting the license in Japan, so it seems that once you are a Hero, you are Hero everywhere. Or maybe some countries recognize licenses from other countries

As someone who animates myself and knows how flippin hard it is to move the characters/environment and the camera at the same time, I just stare in awe whenever I see a good rotating camera shot. (Studio Bones is amazing at this, like you can tell by watching MHA but if you really want to see them go crazy with super breathtaking and dynamic animation, you should watch Mob Psycho 100. the difference between telekinesis and what ochaco has is that telekinesis allows complete control over an objects with the users mind- the ability to not negate the gravitation pull of an object making it weightless but rather holding it with all its gravitation pull still attached that means drag and all the other factors but it also means exact control the whole time without having to ever physically come in contact- this lacks the fine tuned control and forces more tactical though because without without a gravitation pull the object would accelerate infinitely and once sent off would be out of ochacos hands unless she released the control- she would have to figure out the trajectory of things and would have a unique infinitely scaling power that completely lacks a fine tuned set of controls. its nothing like telekinesis, telekinesis is super overpower to the point where becomes godlike unless restrictions are put on the limit of the power or the control the character has of the power and of their own emotions

That kind of pressure All Might put on Midoriya, you either create a diamond or you crush someone to death. All Might chose right one. Being a hero isn't about physical strength. He literally could not handle the power. Midoriya never sought out to be the greatest hero on purpose. He just wanted to be like his idol. And in achieving his dream, he became that. One for All is an ideal. I protect you, because I know you would protect me. We are all heroes.

ya'll are hating on kachaan too much....if you knew kachhan he wouldnt want all might's power....he is so confident that he believes he can take over all might on his own and no one can stop him....its his tenacity that he always says he is the very best so that he gets backed into a corner and there are no excuses for him to back down....he has not a jealous bone in his body...he just wants to be the best and he gets angry that someone got better than him because he wasnt paying attention to himself

It’s even a little deeper than that because deku was the worst possible candidate for surpassing bakugo. If bakugo would’ve lost to shoto it wouldn’t have fazed him as much.
