It's really hard to put into words how horrifying All for One is. This ancient evil surviving through pure spite, when he appears he looks like a man hanged and gives everyone around him visions of death, not through an ability or anything, just from his own aura. You never see his face. He's just a voice attached to this eldritch horror of a mask. I have a huge appreciation for music in games and shows and his theme was such a treat. It's about as unsettling as you can get.

True, however there is no point of that "evil" and "dark" vibe since All Might beats him in a few punches, it may have been by purpose but it just defeats the purpose of All for for One vs One for all in the first place. Plus, it will just make All for one look weak, when he came out strong. It just doesn't invest me, I'm afraid.

Regardless narritavely the whole point of the AFO vs All Might fight is to get All Might to conclusively and effectively lose his powers as well as his retirement as the number one hero, which acts as an even stronger driving force for Deku to become the symbol of peace and that pillar of hero society All Might was and wants him to become as well as having a strong effect on other characters such as Endeavor, Bakugo and all of the students as well as hero society as a whole. All Might being forced to retire after this fight literally shapes the entire world and story afterwards irreversibly, I mean the hero society has lost its core pillar, the number one hero. So to say that AFO losing on purpose defeats the purpose of AFO vs All Might is just wrong in my opinion, because it just disregards everything else that happens as a direct consequence of this fight happening in the way it did.

It's very interesting to me how there exist multiple quirks that can achieve the same result but with an entirely different process. Like the Kurogiri smoke/gate/warper and the gray liquid that also teleports but under different circumstances. It gives so much potential and posibilities to the powers in that world. For example: You could have 10 people with "super strenght" but actually each quirk could be different, one could have a strenght multiplier, other could create muscle fibers, other could turn sugar into strenght and so on and so forth. It gives so much variety and uniqueness.

One of the things I enjoy about this anime is that it plays with tropes and turns them on its head becuase of how defined the characters are. This episode is a prime example; the bully character turns evil because of trope reasons, but nope Bakugo flips the table on the villians calling them all losers.

Something people overlook is why All For One was even at the Nomu Factory... He was last shown to be in his lab (the tower in Season 2), so how did he know the pros were at the factory? Unless someone told him about a Nomu being tracked back there...

All For One is the complete antithesis of who All Might is. He knows no love, he knows no true joy in anything but human suffering and being the tyrant of them all. He knows only manipulative tendencies to get people to do what he wants and the hoarding of power for his own gain. I doubt he even truly cares for Tomura, despite how caring he is portrayed in the brief flashback. No love, only violence. Also Tomura’s reaction to literally getting an explosion to the face is a testament to how much he has matured/how durable he is.

The perfect "villain". While I agree is the antithesis to All Might, I'd say even more so to Deku. Very minor spoilers: They're backstories are almost the same. In contrast to Deku, AFO admired villains and wanted to become the greatest villain. That is literally all there is to his backstory (so far, and I hope it stays that way).

So basically at around 10pm I was talking to the girl I'm seeing and she suggested we go fishing on this island we had heard about. Neither of us know anything about fishing but we decided to just go to a fishing supplies store and get a cheap rod and some bait, which we did, and then took a taxi about 30 minutes to where it looked like the island was on the map. We arrive in total darkness, even the taxi driver is like... uh... are you sure? But we get out and head down to this dock thing. We can't see any island at all, only a long string of rocks stretching out into the water, and then a few bigger rocks farther out. It's pretty dark but the rocks are backlit by some large boats way out into the ocean. We fish off the docks for a bit and drink some beer but it feels unsatisfying because there are clearly no fish there and we really want to check out the island. So we walk down that long string of rocks out into the water, closer to the large rock looming in the distance. We fish there with no luck and then discuss that maybe the island is past that big rock. So I try swimming out by myself first to test out the depth but realize it's pretty deep and the tide is coming in. One of the problems was that we were 100% unprepared. Like we were wearing non-athletic or water clothes and had no bag, and all our stuff (phones, wallets, etc) risked getting destroyed in a swim so even if we got to the island we would have to leave our stuff on the rocks as the tide was coming in. So then we got the idea for me to swim her over first and for me to come back and carry the stuff above my head while swimming in multiple trips. I'm a decent swimmer so it was easy for me to make the swim by myself so that would have been fine. Before we set out on the swim I told her that under no circumstances was she to panic because that's the most dangerous thing we could do (I almost died once from someone panicking and grabbing me in the water). The irony is that I was the one to panic. Anyway then we swam over as I said in the video, we made it, and when we climbed the rock we realized that we were standing on the island, it's just that the rock part of it hid the beach and flower sections (there's a really nice flower field on it and a white sand beach). And we were the only ones stupid enough to do that at night so we just had that island to ourselves. We made a little sand house to protect ourselves from the wind, slept there and got up to watch the sunrise and to fish. She caught a blowfish because why not. Oh and we also found a styrofoam container which made me transporting our stuff a breeze, and also getting her back to shore a lot safer. That's pretty much the whole story.
