And that's why he should have been the successor of all might, but then again they added some BS rule later on so that deku would fit more, series could have been finished sooner had miro been the successor.

I think that gets overlooked a lot. One single mistake in that 15 mins, and he would have been dead. To fight Overhaul, without a quirk, where a single touch will kill you, and be winning the fight while protecting a little girl...beyond amazing

If you missed it, Mirio kicked Chrono (who was holding Eri) while phasing his leg through Eri to not hurt her.. The precise control over his quirk came from training a lot

Mirio and Tamaki really became some of my favorites in only a single season. The bottomless support they have for each other is so wholesome. How Suneater was able to push past everything that was telling him that he couldn't do it because of Mirio. How Mirio was able to give up everything he had because of Eri. They are both true heroes.

chisaki wears masks and gloves because he has allergies, whenever he gets touched in s4e2 they showed his skin getting rashes. Whether its allergies or a drawback to his quirk, i dont really know.

It always struck me as something psychological. From the trauma of obliterating his parents, probably because they put their hands on him in a way he didn't like, thus manifesting his quirk. Now he breaks out in hives whenever someone touches him, a complete germaphobe.

Right, one of the best episodes of the entire series, one I've been waiting for! If you don't come close to breaking and feel with them this episode (like you did, really enjoyale to watch), you don't have a heart Some noteworthy points: Mirio fought Overhaul for 15 minutes, 5 of that were without having a quirk. A disadvantage that usually prevents people from becoming heroes in first place. For those 5 minutes, he fought someone who can: 1.) instantly kill him the second he manages to touch him with his hands 2.) handle the power and speed of a monster like Rappa 3.) win instantly if he manages to critically injure Eri Mirio fought that man without his quirk for 5 minutes while protecting Eri and leaving her unscathed the entire time. But that's not all. Mirio's equilibrium at this point still hadn't returned to normal. He was still affected by Sakaki's (shloshed guy) quirk! In the world that has been built, that's an unimaginable feat, one that's overlooked often because the very surface is already this impressive and epic. Apart from that, Mirio with his quirk low-diffed the entire squad and fought Overhaul and Kurono simultaneously. To end this, I wanna re-iterate again just how difficult Mirio's quirk is to use effectively. When he activates the quirk on his entire body (when going underground for example), he loses his senses. He cannot see anymore, he can't smell, taste (not a huge problem in that instance), he can't breathe either. All he can do is predict where his opponent will be, how he needs to position his body to get repelled to the area he needs to be in, do that while falling in space without his senses and get the timing exactly right. In all honesty, it's by far the most difficult quirk to use that we've seen in the entire series. And while more people will agree with me after this episode, but usually disagree - Mirio is a better character than Deku. He deserved OFA. Fight me.

Aizawa wasn't kidding when he said Mirio might be the closest to the #1 Hero spot, including pros. He rocked that 1v4, and he still does even without his Quirk. The worst thing is that letting the bullet hit Eri would probably have been the best course of action. We saw with Amajiki that they don't cause any damage except to the Quirk. Without her Quirk, Eri would have lost her value to Overhaul, and Mirio would still have his to fight. But of course Lemillion wouldn't do that, especially not after already giving Eri up once before.

Yeah. The issue is he didn't know for sure what bullet was being shot. I don't think it was worth the risk in his mind to potentially let her die right then

I think he was under the impression it was a regular bullet though. With the being said he still would’ve taken the bullet even if he was aware that it was the quirk eliminating one

@@bauer0788 thinking logically that reasoning is kinda forced. He def didnt know it wasnt a regular bullet and that i think is the only reason he jumped. No matter how wholesome, kind and heroic a character is, if he knew there was no risk of Eri dying and the only harm would be a stingy pain Mirio wouldnt have chose to sacrifice his quirk cause at that time he didnt know he could hold them off quirkless for 15 min, the smart choice would have been to keep the quirck cause it's obviously easier to save ppl (in this case Eri) and yourself. Saying that Mirio jumped in front of Eri knowing that it was the quirk erasing bullet just cause he doesnt want Eri to experience pain takes away so much from his character lmao.

This episode is the one that sold Lemillion as my fav character. That even if you don’t have the thing that makes you strongest, doesn’t mean you’re not strong. He still has the motivation to fight for what’s right regardless. Love him 💕

All might began to lose his flame once he transfered it to Deku while Deku's flame continues to grow throughout the story. So eating another hair won't do anything.

I cried so hard when I first watched this episode! This whole arc is one of my favorites in terms of the anime. Eri is adorable, and I really enjoy the dynamic of Deku and Lemillion. So excited for the next season to come out!

@@joesmith1642 No, they definitely love the show. They are super into it, but gravitate more to the characters and interactions than to the action. It means that when big hype scenes happen they're more affected by their fear of what may happen to the characters and if they'll be okay rather than being excited by the animation or fighting. It would help the reaction if there was another person that was more into that side of things to balance them out

Mirio was always my favorite, mirio literally has a terrible quirk but seems so invincible to everyone else and it’s bc he trained and worked really hard to do so, he fought while accidentally saying his quirk to them while drunk and fighting overhaul then sacrificed himself to save eri, lost his powers and still kept fighting a villain who could kill him with just a touch man I love Mirio so much

I see alot of people make the comment that Mirio should have let Eri be shot and you're WRONG, respectfully. Quirks aren't just extra abilities, they're literally a part of who you are. The word Quirk is "Kosei" or "personality" as it shapes who you are and how others see you. Eri spent her entire life being told her Quirk causes suffering and death and that means she herself is a curse to others. She sees herself as something that brings pain because she is her Quirk. Letting her Quirk be destroyed is the same as confirming all of those things, that she wasn't worth protecting as is. That decision would only been a repeat of Mirio putting what was best for him as a hero ahead of what was best for her a person AGAIN. That she wasn't worth saving AGAIN. Mirio chose to put saving Eri over saving himself, like a true hero would.
