What scares me more is when the uniform stays essentially the same, the tactics are the same, but throw a negative qualifier in front of Fascism and people are tricked into thinking they're the good guys. But then again historically a lot of people had to think they were the good guys for fascism to exist.

​@@broskibrewer2187fair enough. One must examine their world view and compare it to what is objectively right and true. That much is certain. Unfortunately most just assume they are in the right because they feel they are and/ or have been told so by those who use them. I will say it's rare for people to have a "are we the baddies" moment these days and those claiming to fight the baddies REALLY need to look in the mirror. As someone who has lived in former fascist/ communist countries and heard the stories from the elderly source the supposed "good guys" in America are exactly what they claim to be fighting against and that end justifies evil means.

The reason evil isn't completely destroyed, IMHO, is because the compromises to arriving to most victory's on an incremental level is precisely how corruption takes root. Many decisions that have straightforward answers aren't inherently evil, but the influence to add so much more than they need it be usually are.

Sorry for this rant as well as bad formatting and grammar as this was done on my phone You know what this… this right here is my favorite part of your universe. It’s the fact that the world is ending and powers are the reason. Hero society can’t save the world from crumbling and dying, hell it was never meant to, it was meant to be a band aid and buy time. nana and all the others who built the hero society made it so the children like micycle and erasure head and all the others who were coming into the world could have a child hood. The world was ending fast, hell we know that with all the wars we have heard of, we know the USA was basically sending hit man squads on any target deemed a threat with seal team 6 and probably many more. Russia was kidnapping kids left right and center building probably entire armies We don’t even know what the Chinese were doing but it can’t be great. Hell with this episode it might even be that powers were around either during ww2 or came about a few decades after I’d bet the nazis were experimenting on people with powers. Powers would have ended the world decades ago and people would be living In tribes wandering abandoned cities and such surviving off what little their powers gave them with out hero society. Hero society has done its job to buy time for someone to come along and find a solution but it’s been to long and not enough people realized it was just a band aid and not the cure. Society as a whole is dying and the league of villains just wants to end it all rather then living in a slowly collapsing society.

Stop making new stuff that gives my monkey brain an excuse to rewatch the entire series :( You're all one of the few who not only abridges an entire series, but shakes up the Canon and in a lot parts, makes it better. I'm so happy to see this project continue and I must admire the vast amount of Voice Actors who labor under this long ongoing passion project. The writers and VA's have my sincerest thanks for keeping my Enjoyment of the Ride burning. I sincerely hope you plan to go as far as humanly possible until your fingy wingy's require a personal Onsen. Keep Joyride's engine burning!!

NO OFFENSE This whole moral right and wrong gimick is so dumb and unarguablly right on the heros sode if you take more than 30 secs to think about it just abunch of childish arguments but not bashing the creators

HARD AGREE and yet half the comments will side with the villains and also be correct. It SHOULD be simple, but the deeper we engage with the emotions and motivations (which are highly varied on both sides BTW) we begin to find this sinister third party at play that uses "us versus them" and having a "right side" as the sole motivation for order. When Nana criticizes Shiggy in Part 2, this is not just a sweeping condemnation of villainy, but of Hero Society too. How does anyone expect to achieve peace on a foundation of blood, whether they feel justified or not? What even is justice? Suppressing threats to a peace that benefits you (but not everyone), or demolishing a system that oppresses you and those you care about (but again, not everyone)? There's a reason we display Twice and Piss Boy's names together in the first death toll. Two bloody acts are committed by two well-meaning actors from two sides, and it's the very second everything begins to fall apart in this story. I personally HATE the arguments made on the villains' side in the original manga, but I can't look at the current state of the real world and sincerely believe the heroes' approach, which is just an idealistic and almost propagandic take on current structure, is entirely healthy and tenable either. Look at the genocide in Palestine. It's just part of an ongoing story of trading bloody acts that won't end until we collectively take a long, difficult look at how tragedy starts and how it's perpetuated. We WANT simplicity. We HOPE the argument is so dumb that the solution will just fall onto our laps, but we are so wholly undeserving of that when we don't treat the truly simple concepts of empathy and compassion the same way. MUCH LOVE TO YOU AND THANK YOU FOR WATCHING/COMMENTING! Turning these dumb little parodies into discourse landmines is why I do what I do!
