Current as of 26Feb2017. Some machines have left while others have been added, most of the collection had to be moved around, so it was time for a new walkthrough.

Good god, I've never seen a walk through of your place before. Your MK wall makes me want to cry with glee... I'm so jealous my heart aches lol. It's literally what I dreamed of in the 90s of what home ownership would look like. That's just so beautiful. Meanwhile I have to settle for my Arcade1up MK MK trilogy lol. Great work.

Some of your cabinets have multiple games stuffed into one cabinet and most cabinets are dedicated. Does putting all games in one cabinet reduce the game play quality or is it still the same official game even with multiple games on one cabinet. It looks nice to see all of those vintage machines still being preserved and used however since its at your home i would imagine only a few games are played at a time so thats a lot of electricity and real estate used considering most games would stay at idle most of the time. Also does shutting the power down each night damage the machines more from constant restarting or do you leave the power on all night? I've noticed public arcades always leave machines on all night while they're closed and not wanting restarting the machines every night is the reason i figured why the do that.

That Deluxe Space Invaders cabinet is fantastic. Don't think I've seen the fancier ones like that since they were new in the arcades in the late 70's. How come your games are in silent mode? It would be so much cooler to see them in demo mode so that you have a symphony of retro sound mixed like you can only get in a collection.

Arkanoid, Arkanoid II Revenge of DOH, and Arkanoid Returns are all fun games (the latter on Taito F3 hardware). Your Konami 4 player cabinet is missing Mystic Warriors, runs on the same engine Sunset Riders runs on, so it could run well, unlike Moo Mesa. I'd say you need a Puyo Puyo (preferably Tsuu or Sun, and Magical Drop III), but not sure you're into puzzle games, and they could be on the cabinet that has all those games on it. The KoF's from 94-03 should be on that Neo Geo 161 in 1 cart, though Neowave and XI run on Atomiswave, and 98UM and 02 UM run on their own unique hardware. But that Arkanoid II sitdown cocktail is a thing of beauty. Last cocktail i saw was in San Antonio, Texas, at a Game Over shop, Space Invaders Part II. It was a sexy little cabinet.

One of the very best arcade cabinets collection i've seen so far. If i had to choose between all arcades i played back in the day , i would pick around 95 % of all those machines. The only one really missing for me (and that's a very personnal opinion) is the Atari star wars arcade. But for the rest, most of them would be in my top priority list. Especially the MK ones obviously. Needless to say, i am jalous too.

Would you be kind enough to tell me exactly what kind of hardware is running inside your mame cabinets ? (Vs Super Mario / X-men). What kind of PC hardware config is inside each of them and what frontend you use, (hyperspin or Maximus arcade? ) I built my own arcade cabinet last summer, its a nintendo blue donkey kong retrofited into a Mario bros cabinet replica. Exactly like yours. And i am currently using retropie/raspberry pie 3, (which is perfect for the original Mario bros version and many classic games like Ms Pac-Man, galaga, but i can't run games like MK2 or Nhl open ice properly) so i'm looking forward to upgrade it to something more powerful, similar to what you seem to have in those mame cabs. Or... i might end up building myself a second cabinet this summer, the ultimate MK2 cabinet... who knows ! Thanks in advance.

I've been able to at least get close to an arcade feel by turning Arcade1Up's into MAME machines, re-skinning them and upgrading the controls to Happ. But, there's just no substitute for the racing games I loved like SF Rush and Hydro Thunder. I see what you mean. I was going to put an arcade together, but instead ended up buying an X-Arcade Tankstick, and hooking it up to a bigscreen HDTV and a MAME PC with a decent sound system.
