The rms primer is really fantastic. This foundation works really well as a tinted moisturizer if you mix a pump of the primer with a dab of the foundation.

I watched the founder and creator of RMS beauty on QVC the other night. She's older and used to model so she is beautiful and poised. She recommenced no concealer and use the fingers to apply. I'm glad you did the demo of it. I was curious. I don't use liquid foundations, and I prefer Jane Iredale pressed mineral powder for my slightly oily skin, at least for the warmer months.

Interesting. I have been using this foundation over hydrating sunscreen and it then has a more dewy finish. And never dry…yet still lasted all day. And i use it with a brush

That’s fantastic! I find I need something hydrating with it, a drop of lightweight oil has done wonders for application on my skin. Thanks for sharing

I figured out that with my combo/ dry skin, if I prep my skin with a face oil before applying this with a buffing brush, it wears beautifully all day and I do not feel the "tightenol" (which is totally what happened when I applied with a sponge too). I love how you need soo little to get the whole face done. I have been looking for a replacement for Tarte Rainforest of the Sea for awhile now, and this is similar enough for me. It might even be better than that one that's discontinued 😅).

Tried that! Worked pretty well for me, I just tend to apply in spots now and buff out. A little bit goes a long way, absolutely! Thanks for the tips 💜

Have you tried different skin peeps under the RMS? Just curious, based on another review I watched. Thank you for this review! At first, I felt compelled to purchase it (even though I didn’t need it), but now I think getting sample through Integrity Botanicals is the way to go. :)

I'm not really a primer person, instead I use a cream or oil depending on the day. Sometimes both since the sunscreen acts as a moisturizer. I have read in comments that the RMS primer is a winner though? I can't back that up myself, but maybe if you can get a simple, it's worth a shot! 💜

Kabuki application definitely looked best, especially up close. I’m wondering if buffing it out makes it drier though?

Britt, this is such a great and thorough review. After using it as well this past week on my mature normal/dry skin, I found as long as I had a good moisturizing base and primed with the RMS re evolve primer, it worked well and wasn’t dry or tight or noticeable on my skin. But if I was in a hurry and did only moisturizing sunscreen, the finish did not last and my face was tight and dry after several hours. I’ve had a few compliments this week wearing it and still really like it but it is not a foundation that I will wear every day. I would love to see a side to side with the Fitglow as that is one of my all time favorite foundations and is not one that is often talked about. Loved your review of it. Thank you for talking about the difference in the shades. Very helpful.

I found it very drying. The coverage is so good but looks awful when it dries. I’m so sad about this
