This whole video moved me so much. When I saw your post I was so sad thinking you were stepping fully away from lashing. You have helped and motivated me into getting proper lash training and knowledge before I even take a client. I’m an esthetician and can’t believe some of the things I’ve seen or heard of about lashing and not having proper education behind them. I love how transparent you are with your walk with God and your faith. It definitely is a test and in the end you will have an amazing testimony to tell that you overcame all the challenges, negative thought, the enemy trying to get in your head to give up. But because of your faith in Him and yourself, you will not give up and your blessings will come. This year is all about you and fully walking in your greater purpose. Had to comment again, because I‘m rewatching this today and honestly as a Lash tech of 2yrs who tries to find sb to do my lashes- THAT made me realize how bad the industry is. Like wdym I show up to my appointment, you have headphones on while you‘re greeting me for the first time, your porch smells like weed & I‘m the one feeling forced to make some kind of small talk or conversation to feel more comfortable with the stranger that’s gonna work on my eyes in a sec, or ASSUME this is where I may put my things down and what to do. Like I run my business so so differenty, from the way I greet my clients, to tucking them in and making sure they are not too cold not too hot, to educating them and communicating transparently. It shocks me how others make the same amount of money or more with customer service this bad.

I absolutely get you girl! How tf are these the girls that are booked solid. The struggle is fucking real and I’m not sure which way to go anymore either. Definitely need another stream of income cause this ain’t it! It’s going to be survival of the fittest cause with this economy there is no room for not being busy. This! I actually had a hair dresser with such an ego & attitude. She was at a nice upscale salon so I paid higher prices but I stopped going because she was rude and got tired of her snobby attitude. Now found a beautiful sweet hair dresser who charges much less, works quicker, is a short commute for me and is so kind we just vibe❤ AND she does amazing with my hair!

I went to a new lash artist I found on instagram and her sets were consistently full on her posts. First she was late then she did not do a lash bath or seal and fan my lashes. (I know because I took a course) My lashes looked like they were done by someone practicing and I still paid $140 and when I asked if she could add more volume she wanted to charge me more and she said she wasn’t the lash tech for me and blocked me. 😢 so yeah some lash techs just want quick money

Hi Julia, I never like to comment but I 100 percent agree with you about the customer service I’ve had so many bad experiences with lash artist where some of them would always cancel my appointments last minute and I understand things but it was an every appointment thing.. another experience I had a very unprofessional attitude and I went to each artist more than 5 months but it was always the same service and prices were not cheap. I kind of understand that in way it was my fault for staying with them until I finally understood that they didn’t deserve my money. About 80 percent of lash artist think that they are doing us a favor when they are charging luxury prices 😢

Customer service!! Say it louder, because like you said this nail or lash techs think a customer needs to meet their needs. They need to learn this is not okay. I have a girl that does amazing nails, only seen her work but refuse to give her my business because of what she post. Her posts speaks about her character and I say no thank you. Keep who ever goes to you but being unprofessional on your business is not for me. Thank you for your honest! Love your videos ❤
