These are things they HAVE to do in chapter 6 imo: Dial back the collabs. This is unlikely but we get them so often, at least once a week it feels like. Bring back hitscan weapons. Fortnite was hitscan-based (besides snipers) for six years, and suddenly they switched to projectile weapons just so they could have some extra attachment options. It feels wrong. Fix the locker. Revert it back to an OG feel, just expanded. And FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, LET US LOOK AT EDIT STYLES WITHOUT AUTOMATICALLY EQUIPPING THE ITEM!!! They need to make the game FEEL like Fortnite again. Make the graphics more vibrant and bring back a definitive art style instead of just doing whatever UE5 can handle. Add new attachments or get rid of the whole system. I personally like them but mod benches are a pain to find, there are too many weapons with scopes that spawn as floor loot (who the hell wants a scoped shotgun?) and as mentioned earlier, a lot of them are just to compensate for the projectile weapons and bullet drop. Make the battle passes better. Put all the V-Bucks back into the basic 100-tier pass instead of bonus rewards. In fact, take out all bonus rewards except for superstyles and put them into the pass. Then take the half of the pass that they dedicate to edit styles for the skins and make those challenge rewards like it used to be. And then bring back the OG Chapter 1 system where there are separate tracks for free and paid rewards. Boom, we fixed the BP. Finally, and this is a *MUST*, CHANGE THE FREAKING KEY ART EVERY SEASON

They kept the Key art cuz of the update with the Lego collab. Since FN was restructured to allow 3 year olds to access the game (not actually joking, that's the deal with the age ratings) They aren't updating the art because they're severely limited to what they can do with it.

Fortnite has always committed to collabs, the difference is that now they feel like an AD rather than a cool experience. The problem is that they try too hard in trying to be more than a battle royale so they make so many unnecessary changes like realistic movement, realistic graphics, removing rarities, questionable bp, locker, and UI changes often making the experience worse rather than better.

Rarities were taken out because of Disney. I heard somebody explaining that since Disney owns so much stock in Epic Games, they have more power over the game than anybody else except epic now. It makes sense because Disney and Epic creating the Disney universe in Fortnite, that’s not something you do for someone like DC or Stranger Things or My Hero Academia, that’s something you do for somebody who has a ton of money put into your company. So, Disney wants the locker to look a certain way, for a bunch of different reasons. The biggest reason being that they don’t want players to think about the price of things when they’re playing the game, so that people don’t even think about how much money they’re paying for stuff, because it’s all the same rarity

There was no confirmation about Disney removing rarities from the game, that's just kind of misinformation since Disney only owns a very small amount of the company with the most influence they have is on the collabs that are related to Disney. The only thing they help to change was the exclusivity of future battlepasses but other than that, Disney doesn't have a whole lot of influence on anything else but some collabs. and on a side note, The rarities being taken out was obviously Epic's decision

The lobby needs to change. They should just go back to how it was before Chapter 3 Season 3. When you launch Fortnite you pick STW, BR, Creative, RR, Festival, or LEGO. And just like before, you are able to go back to the mode selection screen. Not only does this remove the random creative worlds from the screens of players who don't play Creative, but it also makes it possible for players to find the main modes. It is a serious struggle trying to find STW in the game browser. Even when favorited, STW always ends up at the bottom of the favorite list because of the way the favorites list is sorted. This is also the case for limited time modes or modes made by Epic. I'm aware they have a By Epic tab but you still have to search for that and there have been modes that were absent from that tab in the past.

What I would like for chapter 6 is more original or fan-made skins, especially in the battlepass, I feel like the collab skins are everywhere and original skins are being pushed to the side. For me, the original skins were something Fortnite was best for, they brought personality, they could be a sense of identity for the player that uses them plus I want to see the supposed “secret” character to be story-related and not a collab skin e.g. The Prisoner from Ch1 S7. That is what I want, even if two years later they’ll come to the item shop as long as they’re good, original/fan-designed skins, I think a lot of people would be happier

its a small change,they honestly needa revert “smooth movement”, the damage markers (the OG ones that lasted till chapter 3) and the pickaxe animation for 2 handed pickaxes when pulled out (they dont instantly appear, they start small and grow, which is such a minor detail but when u hit a clip u cant see the pickaxe unless its one handed) All that with what he said in the vid would be a dream come true 😊

I am not saying that it is bad but it is not the real thing. The lore basically doesn't exist anymore. I hate the new movement, the UI, the locker, and the terrible shop layout. For the UI get rid of the scrolled down section on “play” and make a whole new tab for the creative maps titled “creative”. Going back to the “play” tab. For the main Epic made modes like racing, Lego, festival, Reload, and BR give it the same function when you want to change to rank or go from solo to duo but with a different button. This pops up a mini screen of the main modes you can select and play each with their key-art and titles shown.

I’d hope they’re going to put more effort into battle passes going forward given that they can now resell the skins after 18months. There’s always been a good 50% of skin in any BP that where clearly put in as padding because no one would buy them in the shop, it won’t make sense for them to continue doing that anymore since they’ll want to resell them down the line for more money, I’m also hopeful this will lead to more cosmetics in the BP buying sell worthy I don’t know anyone using emoticons and my loading screens been on shuffle mode for about four chapters at this point.

I would say if hitscan and projectile are going to co-exist that hitscan will NEED to be weaker and have less weapons. Like one hitscan AR and one hitscan pistol per season that are 20-30% less damage with the understanding that the hitscan aspect makes the bullets easier to hit.

The game is ruined, they ruined any good or fun aspect of the game because they gave some Disney suits access to the game. It really makes every penny spent by me useless. I regret every purchase I made because I didn’t know how greedy, selfish, and weak the people behind Fortnite would become. I’ve lost all will to live because of this game and what’s happened to it. My nostalgia has been curbstomped and I don’t have no faith in the people behind the game. It used to amaze me, now it’s like they want to hurt their users. They should also reintroduce staged skins (stages 1 - 5) and remove the bonus rewards, while keeping the superstyles. As someone else mentioned, this would maintain a grinding element without being as tedious as reaching level 150 for the current bonus rewards. They should also bring back more creative challenges for example, in Chapter 2, there was a challenge to dance in the highest and lowest parts of the map, which I thought was unique. Now, we have boring ones like dealing 2k damage with a shotgun. Overall, Fortnite has become less creative with its skins, battle passes, challenges, and the game's aesthetic. I hope Chapter 6 won't disappoint.

For the whole UI thing, what they can do is have different UI styles for all four main game modes, and for other things, have the corporate design to emphasize on the metaverse aspect. Like, imagine a UI made of LEGO bricks, that would be awesome !

Guitars as pickaxes and backpacks are definitely a possible thing. It would drive up the purchase rates of guitars and would generally just be a great customizable option. If they do implement this, it mqy just be as pickaxes, and they might include microphones aswell, if just as a pickaxe.

Ch5 has revived my love for the game slightly. Love the realistic vibe (i love it as well, not as much as the cartoony style, but it feels fresh), and the map feels nice. Didn't like s3. I only barely got to lv100. This season feels a bit weird because some items are annoying, but still, it does have great vibes, and it feels fun to play.

The hitscan weapons should return with mods and projectile weapons being removed as people have been complaining of a lack of updates and content. Now if they had the old system with hitscan back they can bring back wild weeks. The fact now they’d need to be converted makes them not going to happen so the old system allows for the wild weeks in between updates basically add them after the first week of an update.

Chapter 5 feels way too realistic, and the devs seem to have forgotten that the original appeal of Fortnite was the cartoony vibe that it gave off. The graphics also feel like they've actually gotten significantly worse since Chapter 4, but that might just be because the map looks so bland.

I think chapter 6 season 1 should be a full star wars themed season and I have a concept for it. In the middle of the map there will be a rebel base location. It won't have a mythic but it will just be there as a cool location, like the locations that didn't have a medallion at them in c5s1. Also, in the sky circling around the island should be the millennium falcon and the death star, with lasers shooting at each other that, if you touch them, should do damage to you. There will also be little tie fighters and ships coming out of the locations to try and destroy the other location. You should be able to land in these and collect loot, like the quinjets from c2s4 but in the air and star wars themed. At the millennium falcon location would be like Skywalker and he would drop his special lightsaber and the push ability. At the death star location would be darth Vader and he would drop his special lightsaber and the pull ability. Halfway through the game, either the sith or the resistance would win the battle and the other location would be destroyed (for example if the with win the millennium falcon location would be destroyed). If nobody got the mythic by time the location was destroyed then those mythic would be unobtainable. At this point in the game, a floating star wars loot island would spawn in and, if claimed, would drop some sort of new star wars weapon. Also, spreaded throughout the map would be star wars chests, which would give you star wars themed weapons from past seasons like worse lightsabers, the wookie bow master etc. The rest of the map would be regular locations like reckless railways.

My wishlist for chapter 6 is: - good event and build up for the chapter, that would rise the hype up and would be awesome, maybe they reveal the map after a specific time after the event, so for those that stayed after the event, they get rewarded for staying and get shown a teaser , and like maybe 2 hours before the servers go up they show us some of the new mechanics and guns? - hope they revert to the old movement in chapter 6, even tho its probably not gonna happen - a cool map, vibrant and big with lots of locations, normal locations, not like the ones we have right now, every location is just straight up chaos - a winter biome that would stay the whole chapter - hitscan weapons - a normal lootpool (a good pump, a tac, an smg, an ar, a new movement item and an interesting heal item that we've never seen before) also would be nice to see the same lootpool the whole chapter with only some small changes to it, so it can be memorable and nostalgic to look back at the guns - a nice winterfest with new christmas items, the winterfest cabin coming back, new christmas skins, good vibes, also hope they bring back the santa, that was throwing gifts around the map in a truck i think, that would be such a nice addition to the winterfest - add a new mechanic, like we've had sliding, sprinting and mantling in chapter 3, augments and hurdling in chapter 4, and medallions and weapon mods in chapter 5 - good seasons with consistent updates and an interesting theme, like we had the futuristic theme in chapter 4 season 2 Thats all i can think of right now, even tho theres a lot of other stuff that they have to change or add to make chapter 6 perfect, i think i listed every thing thats important to make chapter 6 good.
