The thing for me and transformers' reuse of old characters, is I don't mind since they are new every time. The Animated incarnation of the Autobots are very different than the G1 incarnation, and so are the Unicron Trilogy and The aligned continuity incarnations. I like seeing different writers reinterpret characters. Though I am open to new characters also, I just don't think a series is creatively bankrupt relying on legacy characters because they tend to written slightly different every time.

If we're going to bring back a G1 character that we haven't seen in forever, I want Powerglide. I feel like the poor guy got pushed off the stage because Windblade took over his role as "the red autobot jet." Also I like the idea of keeping the original seeker trio, but let's KEEP a proper female Seeker, whether you want it to be Slipstream or the female Nova Storm, let's just have one of them so they have a reason to FINALLY make a proper toy of one that isn't a gimmick toy or Windblade remold.

What I want from Cyberworld is something like Animated- a show where the show's staff are in sync with Hasbro's toy designers instead of one party having to play catch-up with the other. That's a big problem for most Transformers shows post-Animated; Prime was infamous for burning through three years' worth of story in one season and then having a whole new Season 3 idea dumped on them by new bosses at Hasbro, RID 2015's sprawling cast of weird and wild Decepticons barely got any toy representation (glad Legacy is correcting that; oh hai Nightstrike and Filch), and EarthSpark's concept of a post-war setting with an entirely new faction and good guy Megatron dealing with a bunch of dissident Decepticons didn't exactly play nice with the need to sell toys with clear good guys and bad guys*. If Hasbro could find a team of creatives that can think of both cool character ideas AND cool toy ideas the same way the Animated crew did, that'd be ideal. *I've noticed that every time Hasbro tries to introduce a third faction nowadays (Star Seekers, Mercenaries, Terrans), it always backfires on them because consumers want these characters to fit into either a good box or a bad box. As far as consumers are concerned, it has to be morally binary. You can't just throw in a third faction and expect people to know where they fall on the morality spectrum without any context from media. As stated in my comment on the video discussing the original leak, I think Cyberworld is going to be a Secret Wars-style show. Basically, Galvatron will play the part of the Beyonder, summoning all the Cybertronians he can to his little arena and pitting them against each other- unbeknownst to those participating, their battles are an excuse to fuel Unicron. The more vitriol between the combatants, the stronger Unicron gets (like the whole "Unicron feeds off hate" thing from Armada). Also, I envision this version of Unicron as being a cosmic force instead of a physical entity... at least, for now. He was defeated and reduced to his current state years prior, but Galvatron aims to restore him through his current plan. Optimus and Mirage realize this and start working to game Galvatron's system, working on making friends out of their fellow gladiators in order to halt the plan to revive Unicron. Since the toyline suggested a wild Decepticon roster (Galvy, a hopefully non-goon Scorponok, Sky-Byte), I'd love to have an equally wacky Autobot roster that reinvents fan favorites and brings some obscure faces to the forefront. Personal picks I have include: -female Trailbreaker who's in a loving relationship with her short king husband Brawn (make them both turn into Jeep varieties: she's a Gladiator; he's a Wrangler) -Crosswise as a pious follower of Primus who slays monstrous Cybertronians; he's basically Cybertronian Simon Belmont -Rattrap for the team's comic relief and scout (give him a TM1-style body) -Override, who talks like the original Speed Racer dub (which would double as a nod to G1 Blurr talking fast) -Pincher, just for being a weird little man they could retool from Scorponok and acting as the team's de facto medic Regarding the toyline, I want something like the ROTB mainline. There's still gimmick lads, yes, but you at least have Deluxe and Voyager figures to work with. The media (cartoons/movies) team has been doing great work with Deluxe/Voyager figures since 2023, and I think Hasbro needs to let them keep cooking. If they maintain the quality from the TFOne Prime Changers for this next show, they'd have an absolute slam dunk in regards to sales with both older fans and younger fans.

What I primarily want are Decepticons that are a real threat and a reliable episode release timetable. As that's my main gripes with EarthSpark: there's no real threat as the writers declawed everyone that could be an actual threat. And releasing staggered batched of episodes. Why should I who lives in the UK need to wait an extra month for new episodes?! Release the episodes at the same time everywhere!!!

I'd love a show that focuses on multiple Autobot teams. Something where we'd get like two episodes on earth with Optimus and company vs Megatron then none of those characters appear in the next episode, which is focused on say Windblade and team in space fighting Soundwave and group of different Decepticons. Then the season finale can bring the teams all together.

What I'd want is for Cyberworld's toys, outside of the gimmicky ones like the one-step changers, to be given similar love and attention as Generations and Studio Series. Basically, don't kneecap it because you don't want them potentially overshadowing Generations and Studio Series. If Cyberworld's toys seem cheap and boring to a child, they're not going to beg their parents to buy them, and they're probably not going to watch the show. Also make sure Nickelodeon or whoever will be airing the show has a dedicated time slot at a time when kids could feasibly watch it. 3 or 4 in the afternoon or 10 or 11 Saturday morning would be ideal.

As a dad I have no issues with Earthspark as a show, it's the toyline which didn't help. The toys themselves weren't too bad, but availablity and quantity was poor. There are so many characters my kids want, but there just wasn't a figure of at the time, so they lost interest. IMO the one steps need binning off, they're awful and just shelf warm. I get it, they're cheap to sell and even cheaper to make. But surely they're not making a great return on them. We as Transformers fans have to remember that kids today will be collectors of the future, I won't be here, but the thought of my great great grandkids playing with Transformers just like I did, and my son did, and hopefully his kids, is a nice thought. Doing transformers reviews and collection is a really nice bonding experience I have managed to have with my son, and I hope others, and other generations get to carry that on. But it won't happen if kids don't get to experience quality transformer toys like we did. Rant over

Considering the previous Transformers shows before Cyberverse were Robots in Disguise, Prime & Animated, all shows that keep a small cast of Autobots to follow, I would argue Cyberverse was fairly unique in giving such a big cast. It gave as opportunity to show off many characters that don't tend to get spotlight such as Dead End, Rack'n'Ruin, Slipstream & heck I would even argue seeing Hot Rod in prominence again was somewhat refreshing. While the character was popular in IDW he hasn't really had a big role in TV for a long time.

I have a couple of ideas. You mentioned going to different planets. Well, I've always liked the idea of doing Transformers Star Trek, where the character travels around to different planets in the galaxy. My other idea, which is kind of hinted at in the Legacy toyline, is doing a Transformers version of Marvel's Secert Wars, where different characters from different continuities come in and out and form different fractions to fight each other. There are so many ideas for different groups and dynamics that it could be a lot of fun. Considering the variety of characters in the leaked toy listing, this is more what I'm hoping for.

Correction. The original 1984 Thundercracker bio had him having contempt towards any being who could not fly. He may not have been overtly evil, but he still had a bigoted side. He'd be friends with birds and the Aerialbots, but not Optimus Prime, cars and humans. Writers tend to ignore that aspect of him.

Last show I was interested in watching was RID 2016, though it went downhill when Optimus came back. They did that with Beast Wars too, It was better before the alien stuff started. Part of the problem with a show only existing to sell toys is that the story needs to bend to make new toy releases, and that can hurt the show.

I’d love to see Hound in Cyberworld, specifically as the kid appeal character instead of Bumblebee, I.E make him an earth loving scout with hologram abilities like in G1. I’d love to see him be paired up with Mirage as a fun little duo, especially if Mirage is gonna be like his ROTB incarnation (which is what I’ll think will happen). Also I hope they also bring in Blackout, whose only major role outside of the 2007 movie is his brief appearance in Animated. Give me my big copter boy as well

I would love a Transformers series similar to TF: Prime, not a repeat of it though. And I want to see Hound with a more prominent role in, not the movie version, Hound is my boy! I don't really mind if it's on Cybertron or Earth, interaction with humans, OK with me. And other worlds, sure, that works. As for the number of characters, I would love to see more as it was on G1, although it might not be practical toywise. Maybe 5 main characters on each sides at the very least. We'll see what we get.

If you're asking, the logo comes from an (alledgedly) leaked document that maps outs the Transformers brand toy & media until 2025. Not sure if it's supposed to be official or a WIP logo, though. As for the 2 seasons thing, I think Linkara mentioned in HOPR that Nickelodeon has this weird mandate of only 2 seasons per show (which is why every Neo-Saban era season has an extra "Super" season even though they're clearly the same shows), so maybe Earthspark was always meant to last only 2 seasons? Then again, I may be misremembering things, so take it with a grain of salt. As for what I want from the new series, most of my points have been covered except for one: gimmick lines that actually reflect the characters and their abilities. I don't really mind gimmicks when they're supposed to represent a special skill or power the character has, so it really annoys me that the last few generations have reduced the child-friendly gimmick lines to just "new iteration of the simplified automorph format" or "some random thing we made up that we're going to apply to every character even if it never happens in-story".

I’d love to see in the vain of Animated. Had a core cast of 5 but very memorable supporting characters. Like when Ultra Magnus, Jazz and The others showed up u knew who they were n happy they were there. Also pull from Armada/Cybertron, dont just be based in one place the whole series, how many times can the story be set in “the same small town where no one notices giant talking robots”. Have an over arching plot, dont be afraid to get dark, show that yes characters die, this is a war. Bring in subfactions, dont JUST do Grimlock, do the whole team of dinobots, do the Combaticons, Aerialbots and Constructicons. Make Megatron or whom ever an actual threat. Actually show transformations and how/why they chose their alt modes. And especially DO DIFFERENT CHARACTERS. Maybe they get a visit from an Elite Guard team of Longarm, Landmine, Jolt, etc… Have the Star Seekers show up, Junkions, or someone looking for refuge? and make them interesting

I hope Cyberverse learned from Earth spark: Have compelling villains that feel like a threat I hate to say it Mandroid did not feel like a threat. BUT G.H.O.S.T Actually did and also made sense honestly when they started shifting it to make it look like that ghost was the villains I found it more compelling of the idea of what if the Earth military was actually choosing a side and so one we didn't really expect. Look I really would love it if cyberverse actually one hints to GI Joe a little bit better and two maybe have Cobra team up with the Decepticons once in a while give it a bit of a tiny bit of exposition of like okay the outlaws and the Decepticons are kind of on the back forward after the incident of arriving on Earth if we're going to have to go back to basics. Here are my changeups one have the arc & Nemesis be two separate ships. Crash landing in two separate locations no boarding party this time maybe have it where the ship's doctors are the only ones conscious and maybe the leaders. Or even stranger of idea have it where the auto bots are stuck with minimum supplies maybe just ratchet being conscious and having to make the tactical decisions of okay I need to first off reactivate Optimus Prime and a couple of key characters and then on the Decepticons have them crash land on cobra island I'm sticking with the reference to gi Joe because gi Joe needs something to resurrect it to be in the proper zeitgeist I think that's the real reason why the GI Joe series is terribly not functioning that and also the figures are way too big and too expensive. The commander reacts to the ship being on his island commands mindbender or Mars Industries to revive these robots and he picks them in a certain order naturally he picks Megatron because he looks like he's the biggest and strongest and more powerful and looks like a brute let's be honest here megatron doesn't look like he's to calculated leader but he is and that's what's intelligently sneaky about it starscream looks like a leader he's clever and backstabbing but he's a coward all the things that Cobra Commander season himself and he knows full blown not to revive star screen the entire storyline though is Megatron needs his strong second in command and for some odd reason that starscreen so the entire first arc is trying to revive him while us rebuilding the seekers? I think this would be a good change up in the series while still feeling familiar we have new threat of human villains actually being a Dangerous. And we can still have the Joe's show up and be threatening to the autobots for at least maybe one or two seasons. Heck it could even make certain teams make sense.

IDW Swerve and Tailgate were written as personalities first before they were assigned to an existing character. Bluestreak and Powerglide were their original choices but they couldn't use them. So Swerve and Tailgate didn't have to be Swerve and Tailgate.

Random unrelated thought. I was recalling, in 1986, Hasbro discontinued Blue jet, purple jet, and white jet. And replaced them with Blue jet, purple jet, and white triple changer. Since Scourge and Cyclonus replace (are) Thundercracker and Skywarp, what if, the Starscream's Ghost plot was expanded, and Octane was removed from the story altogether? What if Starscream came back, with a bigger, more powerful body? Who could be a larger jet - or transform into something like Optimus Prime.

My (unrealistic) hopes for the show. Optimus has character traits beside just being strongest fighter. Let him have fun with other characters but still be the leader. Add cast members from 1987-1991 toy lines there interesting alt modes and basic bio to show to new generations. Given Megatron sense of purpose beyond himself, he is dedicated to the Decepticon cause.

Cyberverse has its issues but I would disagree when you said it didn’t take a lot of risks. The third season did a lot that was out of the ordinary which cemented it as a favorite of mine. It just took a bit to get its footing (primarily with the first season)

Hasbro just needs to fully invest in the hot new thing. Let it be the face of the brand for the next three years. If even a third of Legacy product had been Earthspark characters instead, same size classes, same budget, same complexity, I do not think we'd be having this conversation right now.

Cyberworld is not the next mainline tv show, it’s just a kids segmentation of the brand. Look up the leaked 5-year brand roadmap. This is NOT the replacement to EarthSpark. That will be called something else

Four solid both sides, rotating fifth secialist for an episode, with a reason they can't have more there at a time. Each with different modes, and some of the specialists being gimmicks like headmasters, etc. More female cast, at least one constant on both sides, plus some as specialists.

For me, something "different" can be good or bad. Animated is easily my favorite thing from the franchise, but I really don't like Earthspark. I did enjoy Cyberverse a lot, because it told a complete story. It began with Autobots vs. Decepticons and ended with them uniting against Tarn. It also had some cool new stories. Seasons 2-4 were really good, but 1 was not.

I don't want to see any dancing. Ideally, I would like a series focusing on the war, no Earth or Humans. A more mature adult series, more like live action sci-fi shows like Star Gate SG1, Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek the Next Generation. But that's what I want. I'll still watch a new series, I'm just not a fan of real kiddy shows.
