I can’t even begin to imagine how stressful and heartbreaking that situation must have been. It's really troubling when someone you trust, especially a partner, doesn’t seem to consider your feelings or circumstances before making such drastic decisions. It’s important in a relationship to always prioritize open communication, empathy, and understanding, especially during tough moments. I’m glad to see that the story turned around, and it’s a good reminder that people’s reactions can change once they truly understand the consequences of their actions. Wishing you strength and clarity moving forward!

Hard to believe full grown mature adults treat each other this way.

I would have bought the apartment if she really liked it but with the stipulation that the trash had to be tossed out.

This is another MIL bullying tale with a non supportive husband. I would have purchased the condo, with the stipulation that the two employees got the boot. It sounded like a wonderful apartment and if I ever become rich, I want one like it.

Please don't have this person read anymore until they get over their lung problem. The raspy breaths between every few words is quite disturbing

Grammatical mistake in the very first sentence of the story, so I stopped reading it. Giving it a ‘thumbs down’. Totally useless.

Oh, just stop. These stories are written by non American people and are spoken by a computer generated voice and only speaks the way of letter sounds.

You can't really be too picky with these AI stories from, usually, Japan, where English isn't their first language. Most of the stories are quite good, if you overlook some of the goofs with the language, and, in my case, the text, as I can't listen to the narrative. I find the pronouns the worst and totally confusing when misused, but persevere with the actual story because I want to see how it ends. I have only failed to read two of these stories because of the really terrible use of English.
