my parents don't understand, once you own a pickup and you start the project, it really does never end. I got a job and I have put at least 2 grand in mine and it was ALL my money... not daddy's. i can never stop. the truck is apart of your personality and it needs to show. mine has no lift, im going for a long travel but insurance won't allow it right now, and a bunch of engine mods.

haha yep im in about the same book as you no job at 15 but still trying to get my pickup ready for when i do start driving. i have a 95 k1500 with a 4" lift that my dad bought from a impound lot for $1500 back in late 09 and ive been "transforming it" ever since, so a little bit here and there but slowly making pace awsome truck dude!

Nice truck bro, I have same truck exccept a 91, and I have put a 3" body 4" spindles and right now Its getting 4" taller springs to lift front more. I got 35's now like you, but man do those 38's make a big difference in the height.

Hey what kind of lifts did you have in that truck what size? I have 2 inch body on mine and one inch suspension rolling on 33x12.5s. I am looking at a 6" suspension lift along with the 2" body and some 38x15.5. You think they will fit? I have offset rims

With just a 2" body it's going to be very tight and they'll rub, but they should fit. I have a truck just like this one with a 6" rough country suspension lift, 3" performance accessories body lift and a custom 1" lift. I currently just have 35s on it which have PLENTY of room but I'm getting 38s sometime in the next week so I can have a more accurate answer for you soon as to how well they clear.

@hawaiianman2332 same here i go around the neighborhood washing neighbors cars and doing any landscaping to get the extra cash to work on mine. my dad bought the truck and i'm the one who has to build it back to a safe and legal state, he origionally bought it as a spare vehicle but my mom got a new tahoe and it wasnt needed so instead of selling it he handed me the keys and said to get it out of his garage within 2 years and here I am. all it needs now is catylitic converters to pass emissions.

I did the the 4 icnh lift with 33 inch maxxis buck shot tires with 16 inch micky thompsons wheels cammed headers and intake manifold with 3 an half inch inlet exhausy with 2 inch dual outlet and 4 inch echo chambers angled at 45 looks awsome

6 inch is the biggest IFS lift they make for those trucks, I have a truck almost identical to this one except its a 94 and a step side and I AVERAGE 8mpgs and that's with straight pipes and 36s
