Poor hubby. I forget that there are people out there who have NO IDEA what to do with makeup. This is EXACTLY what I needed to see before my friends start asking me how to do their Halloween looks. Then I send them an “easy” 54 step make up routine with footnotes, video clips and a curated Ulta shopping cart… and they look at me with ultimate FEAR n their eyes. Babe - just come over to mine. I don't like feeling like my pores are blocked w liquid makeup, and also even that aside I'm scared to follow tutorials bc most of the time, in the middle they be lookin Ca-RAY-Zee, & I'm always like "Uh oh, what if I get to That step, where I look nutty af, and then bc of my lack of my skills not be able to fix it from there to the completed end look that actually looks good?!"🙀) Iykwim. (I guess I could just wipe it all off, but the thought of doing all that just to possibly F it up & wipe it off is like, No. I'm not super patient, that would def p me off!!😂💯)

Casey did a solid job for having never applied makeup to this degree before and for not being experienced in the vast range of products. He gets the general purpose of each product and its placement. I was proud of the creative descriptions, which were correct. All in all, Casey did a damn fine job. I've seen far worse from so-called pros who get paid to do this. Bravo Casey! Well done! 🙂🍾👏🌟

Okay, this is adorable. Nice to meet your husband! As a woman who never really learned how to do makeup (my mom wasn't into it and I leaned HARD into the idea that liking makeup = wanting to be objectified -- clearly I know better now, but still never really learned makeup), one of the reasons I love your channel, Johnny, is that you make makeup feel less daunting. Johnny you are such a great sport because I have seen this type of video from others but they didn’t seem as willing to sit there and show the reality of the true look. You didn’t even see what was going on until the end. I asked Wynne Wright Casey’s determination to do it all by himself without any help. I also loved how he applied as much logic as he could. But when he blew in your face and your reaction, I about died. Also, your reference to looking like tan mom, priceless! I have to give props when they’re due and Casey your application of eyelashes for the first time, I thought was pretty flawless. Way better than my first attempt on my aunt for her daughters wedding.
