Wonder ,Why Women quit their Jobs ,after marriage? Is it because,now their jobs( without salary) r- cleaning bathrooms, swabbing floors ,cooking,washing clothes, 24/7 housekeeper s job and standing in attention?? 😡

Only in Japan. Women are not real people there are are forced to quit working to serve their husband and his family if they get married. There’s a reason the birth rate is plummeting there

Well this story, like most of these "Revenge" stories, is from Japan and most Japanese women quit work when they get married, even today. In a Japanese marraige the man's role is to work and provide the money; he turns his paycheck over to his wife and her "job" is to take that money and carefully budget it to feed the family, pay the rent and all the bills, and save for the kids education, her husband's retirement, any medical expenses ( there is really no health insurance or company funded insurance in Japan, all health costs, including childbirth are paid for out of savings. And most Japanese hospitals are private, family owned BUSINESSES. Often the head of the family, the father, runs the hospital, his children sit on the board, and are often doctors in the hospital. The health care is excellent but expensive. The government does pay for most basic elder care.) The wife also raises the children. She teaches them manners, which is how you survive in Japanese society. There are thousands of little rules, from how deep to bow and how to speak and to whom. One of the things a mother is judged on is her children's manners. So in these stories when a person behaves badly as an adult and the parents apologize, the mother is apologizing for not raising her child correctly. She also tutors the children because the Japanese education system is extremely difficult and you have to pass tests every step of the way. The child's whole future depends on passing those tests. AND she is expected to keep an immaculate house. Her husband , who works all day and then socializes with his co-workers after work ( this is actually considered part of working across Asia, building ties between those you work with, so everyone works as a team. It is how you advance in your career) expects to come home to a house that is as well kept as his mother's. Without him doing a lick of housework. There is no way a woman can do all these things perfectly and hold down a job. So she doesn't " work ". But she is working, constantly, all day, in a way her husband sometimes doesn't appreciate. Japanese men tend to idolize their mothers and if mom could keep a perfect house and raise perfect children and welcome their husband home after work with a perfect meal and a hot bath, why not the wife? All this is one of many reasons so many Japanese women are not getting married ( don't forget the mother in law problem ! ) and the birthrate is falling like a rock.
