It's one thing to live in a traditional relationship because you want to, it's another thing entirely to say that feminism was completely unnecessary. I don't care if she wants to live this way. It's the ideology behind why she lives this way that's problematic. The irony behind this is that she calls herself a tradwife and preaches all this stuff, but has a monetized KZbin channel and that is effectively a career. So she's not just a homemaker, which is what she preaches women should be doing. And the only reason she's capable of making the choice to do that or stay home or whatever is because of feminism.

All the credit, and financial resources are in his name and at his discretion. I’m not saying that these dynamics can’t work 100% of the time but in order for it to truly be equitable, the person forgoing building individual wealth needs actual provisions in terms of property, ownership and credit. You can’t love someone and also to care about what happens to them when they are no longer in your life. Courts only go so far. This scenario is quite common in Asia. In one of the religions, there's even a principle that women should be housewives and excel at taking care of their husbands. Personally, I've had my own experience. At one point, I was offered $1,500 USD a month by a German man, just to have fun and enjoy life. He didn't even ask about my job, but I didn't love him, so I rejected the offer. I've dated a few men, and I once met a man who was raised without a mother, she had fled to another country and left her family behind. He said, he doesn't like feminists and wants a woman who can take care of him and isn't too smart, so she won't challenge him. In the end, I discovered that he wasn't loyal. On another occasion, I met a man with a high level of education and a good job who was raised in a lovely normal family. He prefers independent and smart women, he said those are attractive traits. So I think upbringing really determines your point of view in life, at least to some extent.

In your 20's, you have no clue who you are, and by 30's, your outlook on life completely changes. I think she will want more than that in the years to come, and a better future for herself. I don't see this marriage lasting. He will be an old man, and she will still be young.

Why would she need to save on the side? What’s mine is yours right. So his money is her money. They’re obviously smart financially and are investing and saving for retirement. She wanted a reasonable “fun” budget for the week. They’re working as a team. And if God forbid they ever divorce she’d get roughly half. If she works hard to save money, cook homemade meals, and have a reasonable disciplined fun budget. Then that works for them. Most people are in debt up to their eyeballs. I guarantee this couple is far ahead of most financially.

@@bernadettedevereux4489 $100 buys a taxi to her parents house... That said this is such a rediculous reason to have separate money. The percentage of this actually being the case is so small like come on. If God forbid that was the case then she could easily take a cab to her parents house. And divorce lawyers would take roughly half. Idk if you have an experience like that which would cause you to think that. If so I’m sorry. But honestly I don’t see why that would make a difference. If you go into a relationship with an abusive man then why would you stick with him?

I have no comment on their arrangement. If it works for them power to them. But anytime someone talks abt "feminism" like that it just tells me they are not educated and are operating according to some antagonized read of feminism far divorced from what it actually is, both theoretically and as a historic and contemporary movement. She just looks ignorant. Yeesh

Did you hear the stuff they were saying? She said feminism is bad and stupid and they are clowns. He CONTROLS her and she doesn't even have her own bank card. The husband gets all the money and only gives her 100$ (which ik she said she only wanted that much) but it doesn't make it any less toxic.

Yea, 2 1/2 years lol I’ve been married 17yrs. Just wait, this will get old. I’m not a feminist by any means. I’m a stay at home mom that homeschools. However, we are equal and I have my own money as I run my business from home. Having ur own ability to survive if need be is important. Having ur own thing going on is important for a sense of purpose outside of taking care of others. Check back in 20yrs from now because this WILL drain you and leave you unfulfilled eventually. That said, you have a KZbin channel ya phony baloney lol Ur prob making more than him 😂 You found a topic that would annoy people and ur making bank off the fantasy.

Single women over 30 always have something to say. When they see a happy couple let alone a happily married woman with a child on the way. Like these females today act just like men so masculine. I’m 27 in see this I’ve been married 2 years now 1 child and happy. I don’t get a $100 a week to clean my house up. And I still get nasty comments from women over 30 single because my husband Caucasian. I mean you can’t win with these depressed trolls behind these screens so continue living your best life. 🎉👶🏻

So I totally not agree with you guys. But if you enjoy living like that...pheu...why not? So you definitly shouldn't try to stop feminism, because for most women it's like that they like being indipendent, but kinda couldn't, because men were suppressing them. And were on a good way to stop that. But I feel like for you guys, you're both happy with your choice and thats ok

She’s selling herself short. $100 a week?! Does he provide her a savings account? What about retirement? Then there’s the fact that she is actually working - she’s a content creator! Hey, if it works for them that’s great! But some of us don’t want to go back in time, some of us don’t want to be married and have children! Happiness looks different from everyone, and to be honest I don’t feel like she is living her life to the fullest of her potential! But what do I know?.
@rosemarysantiogo291Ай бұрын
What I find funny is how she says this is not about money, sure. Let’s talk about the age gap, that man is looking for a nurse for when he can’t function any longer. Who will be stuck taking care of him until his health is better? Who will be left widowed and be alone taking care of your children? In the end she will get the money, the house, all of his belongings. She’s doing all this so she doesn’t have to work and can be financially free. Good for you!

You forgot to deduct the cost of rent, utilities, shopping for supplies, food, vacations, car payments, mobile/internet, entertainment, etc, all that would've set her back a clean 60-80k a year if she was working and single ( judging by their lifestyle, home and the car she drives, the dude is clearly bringing in 6 figures). She wasn't wrong when she said that she made more now than when she was in the army

How is she making more now than when she was in the military? There's no way they paid her less than that. If someone wants a traditional marriage, good for them. Do whatever makes you happy, but she needs to have her own accounts. It's just not healthy to have everything combined. Then, there is no independence.
