Currently reading the series for the first time and I just finished the tandem read. As a fellow Chaol sympathiser (there is not many of us😄), I agree that this one was tedious. I can see why people dislike it so much. However, the tandem read made the experience much much better in my opinion.

@@bookwormcouple Have you considered making videos reading manga? although they are not books and more "graphic novels" (sorry for the wrong term, I don't know how to paraphrase) but there are mangas that appeal to fantasy There are some classics like Naruto and One Piece You could read the first four volumes (which are not that long compared to books) of each and give your opinions on

@@Lucio64970 I (Robby) love manga! Naruto and One Piece are 2 of my favorites. We have never done any manga videos on the channel, and right now I know Liz is feeling swamped with the books I’ve given her to read. But Liz has never read any manga to my knowledge so it might be fun to do that in the future!
