The best part of the movie, was when one of the son's spoke so highly of his mother. Its tough raising children with no father, I know. God be with all the mom's out there, you deserve honor and respect. For those that don't get it or have it, God knows and thats enough.

Us single moms have to be the mom and dad It is especially hard when the mom has to raise a son alone. I am not equipped to teach him how to be a man.

I knew Jay Sanders in NYC when I was an actress. He did Buried Child Off-Broadway and we crossed paths at auditions. He's such a great actor. All the acting in this was so well done and subtly played...the story tragic, but triumphing over trauma and tragedy is inspiring. Many of us who experienced trauma need it. Great job, Jay! Grateful this was shared in a movie (happens more than we can imagine). If they were daughters, would have been a different outcome. Sons dont take NONSENSE (censored for youtube) from fathers. Glad 1 of the sons spoke & lit him up. (How much PAIN can you cause your children ??? Why cause any ?)

Yes one son told their father what he thought of him and the other son honoured their mother. A great combination and that may have been very healing for them and their wonderful mother. Definitely a psychopath. I wonder if his girlfriend knew about his other family or did he lie to her as well.

I'm only in the first 20 minutes of this movie, his wife should already have 2 questions : 1) Where did the $25,000 he swindled from the university go ? 2) Why did he have to go all the way across the country just to kill himself while he could do it anywhere. She should have suspected that something more sinister going on with her husband and he probably is still alive.

What a testament to a strong woman who as her son said was the “ best mother & father” he & his brother could have had. She was such a strong, loving mother & role model that her sons recognized the contrast between their parents & quickly saw their father for the unconscionable fraud that he was in so many ways … & they were able to go forward in life never again missing their father’s absence.

He’s the man who recently faked his death (Aug. 12th, 2024; “kayaking accident” on Green Lake, Wisconsin) but actually fleed to Europe, living with a girlfriend. A Proof-of-life video was shared publicly by sheriff Mark Podoll on Nov. 11,2024. Borgwardt has a wife and two kids, 😢and refuses to come home.
