She said she begged and pleaded with him to see the light. There was nothing to see, he knew that kid was his, he willingly accepted the lies he knew weren't true because he was cheating with his ex. Simple! He believed because he wanted to. He needed to justify in his own mind why what he was doing was ok, otherwise he'd have had to come to terms with the fact that he was in the wrong and is an arsehole. Even if Spencer was Ezra’s child (and thank the Gods he’s not), he still wouldn’t have had any right to take him or even demand visitations because he signed his rights as a father away, while OP was still pregnant. Yes, he did that under the impression that he wasn’t the father, but he’d been offered the chance for a paternity test, he could have asked for a paternity. Yet he didn’t even want that much. So he doesn’t have anyone to blame but himself. You can’t sign your rights as a parent away and then expect that 10 years later, you can just walk back into that child’s life. Especially if they’ve never even met you.

I do have to say let's say OP had a child that was his, Ezera had signed over his rights for said child before it was even born and all of a sudden 10 years later he wants to show up. Firstly he signed over his paternal rights so legally he wouldn't at all be allowed to see the child whether or not he's the childs biological father or not.
