@Aster Regis To American ears, most of the accents sound very similar (or at least, that's what I'm assuming). Just like in the UK it's very easy for locals to tell when someone is from a different part of the country, it's easy for Americans to identify accents from different parts of our own country, but to many Americans someone with a British accent is just generically "British" and it's harder to tell the difference. I can hear it, but I think it's because I have more experience with other accents than some :-) Hope that makes sense!

I picked up on Ed and Jamie immediately from their body language and facial expressions, but that plot twist at the end definitely threw me. It made me realize that I probably only recognized the others because I knew to look closely for small differences. Unless I was being hyper aware, I would easily have missed it. My friend just told me they have DID. One of the alters told me they're glad they don't have to impersonate him anymore because it was exhausting. I'm glad they are all comfortable to be themselves now. 💖 Edit: Turns out I'm a multiple too, just got diagnosed with OSDD in February, 2023.

This is so sweet!! A new, but NOT new friend!! It's good They have an understanding friend. Pardon me if my use plurals is incorrect, but it feels wrong to not use them. It feels disrespectful, like ignoring who they are to not include them both, or them all like for Jess! Learning proper etiquette and being respectful is important! This channel has honestly made me consider something about some transgender people. Maybe the people that regret their surgery, has something like this where they're not just the host, and then they do something to the host and the host rejects it. I'm not saying all, or many. @@sleepyote I didn't say all, or many. I said some. I read some reversal regret stories. One I read kind of sounded like something she said in another video. Some people don't realize there's is that barrier(?) Between them. And many there is an opposite sex alter, and host mixes up both their emotions, feelings, and regret it because it didn't feel right, or the satisfaction was short lived. One man said he felt split down the center, the "woman broke out, and I thought that was what I wanted, just to be her.." then he talked about feeling lost and confused not sure of why he feels so split down the middle.. I was trying to Understand them, because I still really Don't, but Do.. And the regret stories where they felt confused and split had me asking questions. hoping they are in therapy to help them process and thrive in life! I am no medical professional. It was just something that hit me hard towards the end.. Maybe I'm totally off, or maybe I am mentioning the One Person it could be true for.. Science is all about proving or disproving theories.. And this one could be a bombshell if it helps One person..

I got the first two clips flipped I thought Ed was Jammie, and Jamie was Ed, I got Ollie right and thought the last clip was Jake. But rewatching I realized my first mistake and still thought Jake was the one in the car. Then Jake revealed himself and 90% of use where fooled by him. You also got to remember he’s an actor in the inner world so of course he would do the best job impersonating Jess.

(Spoiler) I knew it was Jake in the first few seconds! The pacing of the cadence was a little energized and young guy-ish, the accent slightly different, but most of all the eyes were a little bulgy/faster rate of movement and the hand gestures more exaggerated. It seems like Jess smiles more gently and her eyes crinkle in a way that Jake’s don’t. Have you guys ever done biometric tracking to see all the differences by alter? Also, how often is Jess home in her body vs the other folks? Does she get a say in the schedule too and how much of it is planned?

I managed to hear Jamie and Ollie pretty quickly - I think the cadence of their speech, the words they use, and also Jamie's tone is a little lower. But oh my god, Jake, I didn't suss you out at all!! Amazing acting skills, bravo :p My partner has DID, and I've seen alters switch into 'covert' mode - when speaking on the phone to family members for example - and it's almost terrifying how quick some of them can just immediately become indistinguishable! I got Ed, Jamie, and Ollie right almost right away but the Jake/Jess switch caught me off guard. To be fair, Jake is extremely good at "being Jess" especially in the voice

I got every one of them. Even Jake in the main video... Maybe it's that my system literally recognizes yours as separate people. Everybody has different vibes. Different memories and thought processes. Once you understand that (or have DID) it's really easy to pick out separate people dressed or acting like one. My system honors yours. 🙌

The eye movement tipped me off about the plot twist, as I feel Jake’s eye movement is pretty distinct from everyone else, but nonetheless it was very convincing. I’d like to see each alter try and impersonate each other aswell, as I’d assume that isn’t as much as a built in necessity as acting as Jess is. It could be pretty interesting to watch.
