Sir is this executive engineer posting enough for serving the nation or need to get into administration from UPSC.

Serving the nation is a very generic statement. You can serve the nation in whichever position you are. Yes, through Government departments, you can directly contribute towards creation or modification of assets, policies and decisions that affect the nation. In CPWD, like in other departments though UPSC ESE, you create assets for the government. If you want to be involved in policy matters, Civil services is a better option

If you kindly help me how you quit your railway job as here not serving bond period one has to refund whole training cost. I'm confused about this if you kindly help me..

Mech k lie v promotions same lines pe hote hain. Work profile is related to Electrical as CPWD recruits for E&M. So you will be doing electrical works here. Designing and executing electrcal equipments, solar installation, transformer, sub station, AC etc

Depends on your level of prep currently. If you are starting afresh, unless you are very good at studies, it will be difficult. But try to give your best. Devote as much time to prep as possible

Not having idea of current scenarios as I have stopped following PSU recruitment details long back. If you are from civil, I advise you to go for central/state government jobs instead of PSU. Scope of work is more for civil engineers in these sectors. However, there are some PSUs like NHAI, Metros, RVNL etc. Mostly, some 5 years back, if you have a score of less than 500, you had a decent chance. Not sure of current time though. Hope someone preparing right now coud throw some light on it
